"We were looking to find a remote spot where we felt detached from the busy city life and we definitely found it and much more here. The property is beautiful and was easy to get to. The host did a great job having the house ready as well as firewood and some amenities (like a boat and kayak) that really added to the experience. I loved having a private lake with its own dock almost as much as my kids did. My kids also loved exploring the trails that weave their way around acreage. Winding down...

"Nice secluded queit cabin in the woods. Perfect for a party of people. Lots of places to sleep for larger groups. Only wish the was a swimming lake you could get to for the hit summer days."

Has a great sandy area and water is shallow for a log way out with sandy bottom, which would be great for kids who want to swim. We swam, fished (put our boat at dock) and used the nice paddle boat provided. My boys caught bass, bluegills, northern, and perch. "

"This is our second summer staying at the cabin and once again we had a great experience. Unfortunately, it was cut short by a storm but the experience we had with the cabin was fantastic. It is a beautiful cabin and very well stocked, clean and very well taken care of. We are looking forward to returning."

Fun on the Lake

"Had a wonderful time. Kids loved the lily pad and the paddle boat. The weather was rainy and chilly a couple of days, but the cabin was well stocked with games and activities. The space was a little cramped for 5 of us, but we made it work. Vanessa was very helpful and responded to our questions immediately."
