Austin car show

We stayed here while attending a car show in Austin. Had a great time. Used the clay thrower and shot some clays. Relaxing and a nice time.

Awesome country place!

We had a great time! We made use of the fire pit by the main house at night and caught and released over a dozen fish from the pond in one morning! We had 4 couples so we split up between the main house, the cabin and the guest house. Everyone could retire to their own place, it was great! The host (Sheryl) was very communicative and helpful. We definitely would stay here again.

Family Weekend

This place is absolutely amazing. It has everything you think you would ever need. Also, there was so much for our grandchildren to do. No one was ever bored. Everyone was so nice and helpful and we will definitely be back. The property manager, Sheryl was amazing and even checked on us after we left because she knew we were going back and preparing for a hurricane.

Awesome place for large reunions

26 people Family Reunion, overall everyone loved it! Perfect place for a gathering! Negatives: 1. At the guest house which is kinda like a bunk house or hunting cabin, where it sleeps 11 is only one small bathroom. We made it work. (main house bathroom situation is also not ideal) 2. The smoker was very dirty and the wood box was full of ashes. 3. The main oven in the house cooked very slow and we found it out was due to the oven door not closing all of the way. 4. With 26 people we had to keep shuffling toilet paper around from the 4 bathrooms to ensure there was always some there, we thought we had ran out a couple of times which was annoying. 5. With record breaking Texas rain it was hard to believe, but the pond was extremely low and none of the water sports were available again this year. Plusses: 1. Awesome ice machine - life saver to help everyone stay refreshed in the Texas heat. 2. A very large and cool pool that everyone enjoyed to and had fun. 3. Pool table, foosball, ping pong, etc.. stayed in use almost entire time 4. 3 golf carts to get around from the 3 houses & back and forth to the tank (pond as non-Texans call it) 5. Tank was non stop fun fishing catching for everyone (just catfish, but everyone loved the fast action). 6. Sheryl was awesome and quick to respond to any issues 7. We some some doe and a turkey around the property, always fun. 8. Airport close Overall a WONDERFUL and AWESOME experience for my family-will come back!! THANK YOU!

Great for larger family gatherings, extremely well l-equipped

Our extended family was delighted with our weekend stay. The three buildings allowed us to split up for a little separation after a day together, with the 20-somethings having a place of their own. The array of activities - swimming pool, foosball, ping-pong, pool table - kept us entertained. Sheryl was quick to respond to my questions before and during our stay, and met us on arrival to walk us through the operational details. The property was exactly as advertised. It was better stocked than any place we’ve rented before, with plenty of kitchen gear, towels, etc. I’d brought firewood for the fire pit, but was pleasantly surprised to see that the huge fire pit had already been set up with kindling and a bonfire’s worth of logs, just waiting for a light. That was a nice touch. There was plenty of extra firewood available, too. These folks know what they’re doing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great fun for all.

We had a wonderful relaxing time. I liked that there were different areas for us to hang out like the pool, the pond for fishing, the basketball court, the children’s playground. The kids loved riding on the golf carts, that was novel for them. There were also quiet spaces to relax. We will definitely return.

Weekend friends getaway

We had a great time and the property was perfect for our getaway. The skeet range was a blast for us and we had a competition shoot off. We cooked and had dinner together both nights as well as breakfast both mornings. The manager (Cheryl) was great with the coordination And communication. No complaints at all.

Red Rock Ranch

Great property, very secluded and quiet!! Plenty of room for kids and adults to play. Very accommodating. We had a large group and everybody says they enjoyed their stay, and manager was very responsive.

Wonderful Family Retreat!

Trails End Ranch was a wonderful place for us to stay with our kids and grandkids! This beautiful retreat in the country gave us plenty of space and all of the amenities to enjoy playing, cooking, fishing and just enjoying nature! Our host was very attentive and kind and great at communicating with us. We will want to come back again for sure!

Christmas House 2023

I was looking for a place that would hold all my children and their families for the holiday and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The house was huge and clean and had everything we needed for an entire week. There were so many activities to do on the property as it kept all the kids from 1.5 to 14 years of age busy. Thanks for the memories. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Great Thanksgiving weekend

Our family enjoyed staying here for several days at Thanksgiving. The large bedrooms and pull out beds were perfect allowing for each married couple to have a space for their family. We enjoyed the large indoor space of the home and had lots of fun exploring the property. Skeet shooting and fishing by day, bonfires, s’mores and hide and seek by night. Sheryl was a there when we had any requests and made check in easy. Overall, a terrific place for a relaxing family get away.

Beautiful Place

Lots to do at Trails End. Main house and cabin to stay in. Fire pit and barbeque and indoor kitchen to cook gourmet delights. Golf carts to go exploring on the grounds. Games galore including foosball, pool, bumper pool - outdoor games and pool as well. Great place.

The ranch is awesome. We like to cook and they have the tools. Steak house up the street is also pretty darn good. Makes our 2nd stay and we have already booked our 3rd. Love it!

Wonderful and Relaxing Place for Large Groups

This property and the host were great. A group of my college friends booked this property to get away for a weekend. Lots of room to spread out and everyone had their own room. Really enjoyed being here!

A Family’s Paradise

Let me just say this property exceeded me and my family expectations beyond belief! This was the perfect place for me and my family to wind down from the fast paced city life ! The kids and adults loved the pool ! We enjoyed the Big Smoker as we stayed over the 4th of July weekend! My family was amazed at how equipped the homes were. On our next trip we definitely plan to pack light ! I give this property a 20 out of 10!!! My family is ready to plan our next trip !! So much to do!

This place is perfect for a family reunion! Plenty of room, sleeping spaces, outdoor play spaces, new pool, awesome lake with kayaks and paddle boat and more! Literally something for everyone! The communication with The owner and manager was excellent! My only regret was that we didn’t book it for a few more days!
