We stayed there September 12 to 24. Based on other reviews, I wasn't expecting much, but to my surprise, when I first opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room looked and smelled. Yes, it needed some minor repairs, but we could live with that because it was so clean and inviting! And for $80 a night and being so close to the beach, it was a bargin. I would stay there again.

This property is in a wonderful location, across Lakeshore Drive from the Marina & Lighthouse. That and the free parking are the only positives. Everything about the property needs repair or maintenance. The upper deck appears to be hazardous. The fact that the property appeared to be fully booked on Sat 15 Aug is a testament to how popular this resort area is. Anywhere else, this motel in its present condition would have gone under years ago. .

Room was very clean. Air conditioner was working and that’s a big one since it was about 29 degrees outside. An older place but well taken care off. We could hear people having shower and walking upstairs but that’s to be expected besides that it was very quiet. Parking was a bit tricky because we were in a truck and came back late to the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Linens were in very good shape. The room was a bit dated. The location was fantastic. The air conditioner worked very well. The only problem was the upstairs neighbours were a bit loud. This was not the fault of the hotel. It was just the experience. I would stay here again and would recommend this to other others.

The room was fairly clean, the kitchen area could use a good cleaning. The smells coming out of that area were not pleasant. Once I cleaned the AC filter it worked well. The staff are very friendly and the beds were comfortable. A fairly central location to restaurants and the main beach. I didn’t have to use my car at all while I was there which was nice. Worth staying there for a 100 per night.

The bed was comfy. The outside really needs some care and attention. The headboard was awful, shabby, coming apart, drapes have small holes in them. Disposable razor left in a drawer. We would not stay here again.

Do not stay here with your children, this place is completely run down and looks nothing like the photos. Did not feel safe staying here with my daughter as the door lock didn’t even work properly and the entire property smelled like sewage. The room looked dirty and smelled bad aswell the refrigerated in the room was dirty. They do not clean the rooms well. We left as soon as we checked in as the place is not fit to sleep in. Disgusting place, do not try to save money by staying here. Stairs going up to the top level were rotting and wobbly. Paint peeling all over the property, this place should be condemned

Hotel has a smell of cigarette smoke or stale booze , staff was unavailable from desk area locked and wouldn’t answer the phones Decent area of the town was a good thing But i wouldn’t recommend this hotel if your looking for a good lake experience if your looking for cheaper low end low expectation This is your place I wouldn’t ever rebook my self also no amenities In the room and blankets and sheets are questionable

Very friendly staff and appeared clean upon first impression. However, the office smelled like rotten fish. Underneath the mattress was very dirty and bedding had hair on it. Hair in the bathroom sink and shower, also shower was completely unusable. We thought we might actually cut our feet if we stepped in the tub as the porcelain bottom had gouges in it and was just plain gross. Fridge freezer was full of ice and kitchen was incredibly outdated. Stove elements were very dirty beneath the foil covers. The windows could be opened from the outside, so felt very unsafe to fall asleep and we ended up finding other accommodations. Very much can not justify $249/night. Will not be back. Fantastic location!
