Overall had a great experience. Having the cover with lights is great, they installed stairs to the river while we were there makes getting to river really easy. It is a little far to town 25 mins to Dollar General and 40 mins to Walmart but we stocked up
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The covered area was really nice and there was a constant breeze off the water to battle the August heat. We wish the property had a staircase down to the water like the neighbor's property. We had to make a trip down the road to do any fishing. With direct shoreline access, the property would be a perfect getaway! All that being said, we would definitely recommend and we will return!
This place was everything we wanted for a quiet, scenic weekend getaway. The river is steps away and has a beach area to set up chairs, fish, and swim. The view from the back is an open field and wooded area. The covered area over the camper has a constant breeze even on the hot weekend. There is a fire pit and we were able to get enough driftwood to get a fire going. Hookups were easy and clean. Do your research and have all the things you need before you get here. It is a good distance from stores but an absolutely beautiful drive. We will definitely be coming back
Loved the idea of being on the river in a covered space with full hook-ups. It is worth the money. The only downsides are the roads to get to this location and being 45 mins from a major town.
The set up of the shelter was perfect… very spacious and well-kept. The view is beautiful and we loved the new fire pit, Access to the water was the downside - you have to climb the bluff to get to the water. The boat ramp with the dock was inaccessible due to the low water levels and the other boat ramp does not have a dock. It would have been nice to use our boat from the property, but that was not possible. Over all, it was a very nice weekend!
