"This spacious cottage is well equiped and beautifully situated. It offered peace and quiet for us parents as well as fun and adventure for our kids (three teenagers). This is due to the wonderful beach that is within walking distance, but can also be accessed by car, and the fact that Farup Sommerland is near. At an half hour's drive there's Aalborg, excellent for shopping, visiting the zoo etc. Within a 5 minutes' drive you are in Hune though, where there's ample opportunity to get everyday...

"NOT recommended!!! no communication from owners or property manager, no after hours way of contact, dirty and unacceptable house. mouse droppings on mattress. no internet, bad cell phone reception; no instructions on how to work the heating/air conditioning. No bed linens, no towels (not notified of this prior to arrival) Left house after 1 hour of frustration and never went back. Drove to nearest town and got hotel room."

"Pro: hervorragende Lage im Grünen, sehr ruhig, man kann sehr gut auch einfach mal einen Tag dort verbringen und sich entspannen, gemütlich, gut ausgestattet Contra: die Sauberkeit lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Wie die Heizung / Klima zu bedienen ist muss man raten und die Bilder sind zwar grundsätzlich übereinstimmend geben aber nicht den korrekten Zustand oder Ausstattung/ Möblierung des Hauses an. "Wir sind als Familie mit 2 Kindern über Silvester in dieses wunderschöne Haus gereist. Das ruhig gelegene Haus ist großzügig gebaut. Das Elternschlafzimmer ist deutlich größer als in anderen typischen dänischen Ferienhäusern. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist alles reichlich vorhanden und überall absolut sauber. Von der ersten Minute an, haben wir uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Frau Sälzer war unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir wünschen dem Haus allzeit nette Gäste."

"We stayed two nights in the one room apart in the middle of Aalborg. The area was quite and safe. Walking distance to every highlight in Aalborg, 10min to the main station. Only minor topic to mention, the bathroom is very tiny. Shower is over the toilet, and the bathroom sink has exactly the size of a DIN-A4 letter. There is a kitchen, but we have not used it, seems there are no tools for real cooking, more for tea making."
