As the room was very hot we had to leave the window open, which made for a noisy night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast gave us an ample choice of food. Thank you kindly.

Lovely Town

Hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and has a tram station across the wat ,100 yards which is the U 702 which takes 20 into Dusseldorf.Ratingen itself is a quaint little town with a lovely market square.Only downside to the hotel was no air conditioning especially as we had a heatwave with temperatures in the 30s.Staff were nice and there is a restaurant in the hotel.

The property was really great and Ratingen is a lovely place. Only thing for me was I asked for an extra pillow 5 times and still didn’t get one. I might be being picky though to be fair. Other than that it was great.

I have stayed at this hotel frequently over the last few years, I have noted that the maintenance of the rooms has declined. Curtains requiring re-hanging etc.

Das Einzelzimmer war von der Größe in Ordnung, es war eine Kaffeemaschine und ein Zimmersafe vorhanden. Es war auch sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Leider war das Bad sehr dürftig ausgestattet, keine Seife und nur ein Handtuch. Auch das Ein-und-Auschecken war sehr angenehm. Für eine oder zwei Nächte würde ich da wieder buchen.

Straßenbahn ist Vor- und Nachteile

Gegenüber dem Hotel gibt es einen Supermarkt, der sich hervorragend für schnelle Einkäufe oder Snacks eignet. Außerdem ist ein Sushi-Lieferservice im selben Gebäude untergebracht, was eine willkommene Option für das Abendessen darstellt. Straßenbahnhaltestelle befindet sich ganz in der Nähe vom Hotel, was sehr prakitisch ist. er größte Nachteil des Hotels ist der Lärmpegel. Aufgrund der Nähe zur Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist der Durchgang der Straßenbahnen im Zimmer deutlich zu hören, was besonders für lärmempfindliche Personen störend sein könnte. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Parkmöglichkeiten. Obwohl die Anzahl der Parkplätze begrenzt ist, konnten wir problemlos einen Platz finden, und es war sehr erfreulich, dass das Parken kostenlos war. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass dieses Hotel eine praktische Wahl für Reisende ist, die eine gute Anbindung und nahegelegene Annehmlichkeiten schätzen. Man sollte sich jedoch auf den Lärm der Straßenbahn einstellen.
