"The king size bed was brilliant. The privacy issue between the living bed room and bathroom was appalling. Open wall with a wooden slate blind which in itself was wonky. Dated decor. No elevator. First room shown had a broken shower door. Staff were obliging but working with an outdated hotel. Could be a lovely venue but needs upgrade."

"Such a beautiful property. The room and added perks (heated towel rack and bathroom floors) were second to none! The staff was so friendly and focus on making it a perfect stay. We wish we stayed more than one night to take advantage of dinner and amenities. We drove from picton on way to auckland so arrived late and left early! If we ever come back we will stay longer for sure!!"

"Perfect stay! Beautiful location, right on the lake shore, and beautiful property. Kayak, spa, sauna, and less than 10 mn drive to downtown Rotorua. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
