「What a perfect spot to view the Northern lights! It was off the beaten path and only a bit of gravel road off the paved one. Instructions and communication accurate. Modern clean accommodations. Comfortable bed. Have food with you as nearest groceries or restaurant are 30 minutes away. As other reviews have stated, more privacy in the shower and bathroom are needed. We saw more than we preferred to, in the cabin next to ours ha」

「Old and rundown. Feels cheap converted double wides. Rooms are the size of jail cells. Restaurant had great but ridiculously expensive food ($45 soup!)」

「Clean rooms, comfortable space. Breakfast was lovely, and the hot tea and coffee (and a cookie) available all day was a nice treat. It would have been nice if there was conditioner in the bathrooms, but overall it was a nice place to stay on a beautiful river.」

「Our host was very nice and taught us a lot about Iceland. We stayed in a cottage, which was very cozy and had a kitchen and refrigerator. The garden and the building were very beautiful and comfortable. 」

「A cozy place and neat location. If I am lucky enough to go back to Iceland again I'd stay here again too.」

「Really cool place set in a tranquil environment. Cozy and sufficient. Highly recommend!」
