"We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....

We were there to visit our son and daughter in law who live outside Jamestown and it was a great location, about a 15 minute drive to their house. We had a great time."

"We have been coming to Lake Chautauqua for 20 years and this is the best home that we have rented . The house has a great dock for at least 2 boats. The house is nicely updated with all things necessary to make a great stay. The house is clean with plenty of room for a large family. The owners are very quick to respond to any problems that you might have. Our group has rented this home twice, and are looking forward to returning."

"I went with a group of 16 and we had an amazing stay! It is located on a quiet street about 5 minutes from town. We had a handful of out of town folks who were driving in the dark and they found the house with ease. The place was very clean with plenty of room for our entire group. The host, Amy was quick to respond and made sure we were in complete comfort during our stay! I highly recommend and would easily stay here again!"

"I had to be in the Ellicotville area for work and we found this cute cabin to stay through VRBO. We couldn't have imagined how amazing this cabin would be. The communication with the owners was easy. Both Madeline and Bette were very helpful and polite. The view from the screened in porch into the state forest is so relaxing. The interior of the cabin is beautiful and about as relaxing as the porch. We couldn't decide whether to sit inside or outside. The location is close to town yet far enough...

"Stayed here for the eclipse but got much more out of it. It was a nice quiet stay right on the lake which made for and enjoyable long weekend. "We really enjoyed our stay. Booking and check in were easy, all via the vrbo app. The place was as advertised, clean, and comfy. The WiFi wasn’t working, but a quick message to the owner and we figured out the power strip for the router and modem had come loose, probably during cleaning. Once plugged in everything worked great! The one downside was no snow for skiing, so we went to Niagara Falls. Would book again!"
