"We had such a wonderful time in and around Wangen which is very beautiful. Johanna was an amazing host and made us feel so welcome on arrival and kindly left us a bottle of wine. She even brought along a friend to translate both on the day we arrived and when we left which was very thoughtful and it really helped (thank you to Ivan too!) "Very nice apartment, more spacious than we had expected from the photos, thoughtfully arranged with good quality comfortable furniture. Well equipped with a TV in every room kept the kids happy. We only had a short stay this time but plan on coming back for a longer trip. The hosts are very nice and helpful, the location is nice and quiet, residential. "Very decent standard of IHG property, new and modern with all the facilities you'd expect. Staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best at all times. Breakfast can get very hectic and there needs to be a better timed booking system and a system where people don't hang about reading newspapers - that can be done elsewhere (their room for instance!) Water needs to be provided in take-away plastic bottles and not the glass/crown cap style at the moment. A/C control needs much more improvement and the controls work correctly."

"The reception desk was located inside the Hotel Restaurant/Bar, which was a little surprising to us. Our key card to access the room was also used to activate lights, Air conditioning etc. in the room, which was unique. When walking through the corridor one would be listening to bird sounds and that was very nice and calming. Parking was available in a Parking Garage across the hotel for a fee collected by the hotel. Overall we had a great stay. "
