"We arrived at Burning Shore for our prebooked - prepaid accomodation over Xmas holidays - only to find it closed and without any notice on the door. When we phoned we were told the hotel was closed for renovations- and that they had not received our booking or payment ( clearly confirmed in hotels.com) - and no rooms were available in an adjacent/ presumably affiliated hotel ( 2 days before Xmas) . "I wasvholidaying in Namibia from Canada and wanted to host some friends who live here, and wanted a home with 6 bedrooms, each with private ensuites, an inviting yard for children, beach access for long walks, cozy living rooms, and a large dining area...this place with its central location between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay was perfect! Large groups or small will find this home secure, clean, friendly and equipped with all necessary amenities. In short, highly recommended, a 'gem'! "
