"Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!"

"Daniels place was absolutely amazing! Everything from when we arrived to when we left was taken care of. There is a guide on site that takes you exploring all over the area and is an expert in all the wild life. All meals are also taken care of, home cooked and absolutely delicious. The house is very charming and you can tell a lot of work has been put in it to making it feel like home. We cannot wait to stay at Daniels place next time we're in Ecuador!"

"We loved our one stay. Had some trouble with no hot water but they fixed it within an hour. Would have been nice to have a fan since we could not open the windows due to rain and bugs. The pool was nice and warm. Breakfast was great the next day! Perfect location and very accommodating staff!"

"The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour. It was farther into town than walking distance and only one restaurant nearby so I would suggest getting the meal option or shopping in town for food. "Absolutely lovely. Owned and operated by a local family. The staff is very kind and helpful. The views of wildlife are exceptional. We were very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave! Note that the road to the hotel is not paved. The local drivers are used to it. If arriving from Quito, get out at the Mindo town square and take a taxi $4-5 to the hotel. People there seem honest and hardworking. "

"Great swimming pool, and breakfast. The cabins are new and they have a kitchenette. The cabin that we stayed is part of a group of 3 cabins and have a pool that they all share. We had the place to ourselves . It has two bedrooms which is what we needed. We like walking and we found thw cabins at a walking distance to town. I recommend this hotel. They just need a clear sign at the front of the gate."
