"I absolutely believe this hotel deserves more than the 2 star rating that it is currently given. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and willing to help. The breakfast needs a special mention…most hotels of this level have dingy breakfast areas. This hotel has an open and beautiful breakfast area with plenty of options. The area itself is very convenient and walkable. Definitely recommend this hotel. "

Fun and quirky unique hotel with an neat history

"We had an executive king room on the fourth floor which had a nice bathroom and a small closet and a desk. We liked the bedside tables with USB ports and outlets. Everything was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the history and quirkiness of the building and decor. We were here during a very hot spell and our room was not hot but still stayed warmer than we would have liked for sleeping. "

Breathtaking Victorian Mansion~2 Blocks to Cathedral~HUGE Hidden Arcade~Theatre!

Great gathering place for 40th birthday!

"This place is amazing. Great location- easy to access local bars, stores and the highway between St. Paul and minneapolis. Rented this for my husbands surprise 40th with 14 staying in the home and then a dinner of 30 one night. It was so accommodating for all sleep over guests- beautiful large gathering areas inside and arcade in the basement. Two kitchens to feed and house that many dudes and if I plan something like this again- will use this location. Responsive owners who were very accommodating. Love this place and would stay again. "

"It was a great experience except there are no restaurants or small stores for food Isolated location. Got a taxi to go to dinner 15 min away. But the hotel was Accross the street from our American craft council meeting so that worked out. "
