The bathroom was also incredibly small—the shower was so cramped that it was hard to move around comfortably. While the hotel is acceptable for a one-night stay if you just need a place to sleep, I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer visit due to the lack of comfort. It’s the oldest in the city, as explained to be by the incredibly friendly and helpful guy on reception when I arrived. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much travel. The room was spotless and the air conditioning worked well. It was great after a long journey to be shown that there was complimentary coffee and cake which could be eaten in delightful courtyard. Breakfast was also of a very high standard. "We contacted the hotel for late check-in (after 7 pm) and were informed that they would reach out with instructions. Unfortunately, we were not contacted, and we were locked outside when we arrived at the hotel. Thankfully, someone working in the restaurant let us in and called someone to figure out how we could access our keys. The breakfast was good in the morning and thank goodness for the restaurant staff."

"This is a unique opportunity to stay in a historic cabin with a very nice lake. The cabin was great as were the amenities around the lake including boats and bikes. Breakfast was also nice. However, the restaurant was not in operation the night of my stay and other food options are not very close, so you must plan ahead. Staff was very nice."
