「This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. 「Our host, Sanjaya, provided a warm welcome. Literally as he brought a portable heater into our room as the weather took a chilly turn. Great staff who could not have been more helpful with suggestions and with an umbrella! Breakfast was good too.」

「This is a lovely boutique villa in a peaceful and quiet location near the 4th tee of the golf course. From the back porch there is a beautiful view of part of the golf course and green-top mountains across Kandy Lake. The villa is well-maintained by Ramya who looked after us from morning to evening. 「町の中心から車で10分か15分位離れた場所にあります。小さなホテルで、まるで親しい人の家に泊まりに来たような気分になりました。部屋からは畑や学校も見えます。時々トゥクトゥクが通り過ぎ、のどかでした。 一番印象に残ったのは、夕食と朝食を出してくれた若いスタッフです。私達が日本人だとわかると、日本語で声をかけてくれた上に、厨房へ戻りながら一生懸命覚えたての日本語を練習しているのに気づきました。 他のスタッフからも暖かいもてなしを受けました。食事中シェフが挨拶に来た他、チェックアウトの際、シェフが念の為再度部屋の忘れ物チェックを一緒にしてくれました。時々スマホなどを忘れるお客さんがいるそうです。 朝ホテルを出発する時、例の若いスタッフから「またいつか会いましょう。私達のことを忘れないで下さい」と声をかけられ、お互い握手しました。 」
