"The owners and staff of Daddy Joe’s are fantastic. The hotel was much nicer than I had anticipated, and I can see they are doing a lot of renovations. The two bedroom with Kitchen was terrific. The restaurant and bar was fantastic. The location is great, just a short walk to get to.Gaulding Cay beach (you can walk five minutes, or drive a vehicle down to the beach). I felt very safe as a solo female traveler here. It’s also a quick drive or walk to the glass window bridge. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I’m glad I rented a car through them as well, because it made everything very convenient. I will definitely be back.!"

"This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Starting from the minute I got there. I didn’t receive any email or notification about how to enter the property. I arrived at 2pm bcz that’s the check-in time. Nobody was available on site and I waited outside trying to contact the host Samia for about 30 minutes until she replied with instructions of where the key was located. This should have been sent prior to my arrival. The first day, we didn’t have electricity and WiFi for a few hrs. I had a very important work meeting and it was very inconvenient and stressful. I also didn’t have any hot water throughout our stay. Taking cold showers was unpleasant. The place was not clean as it looks in the pictures (which is actually the penthouse not our actual room). It feels like an abandoned property that has not been maintained well. The only nice thing about this place is the oceanfront view. On our 2nd day, we woke up from an afternoon nap and was pretty much eaten alive with bed bug bites all over our bodies. I counted 50 bites, my sister had about 20. We woke up in complete panic and packed our stuff immediately. We could not find another place to stay last minute so we ended up sleeping in our rental car. I was disgusted and have never encountered an experience like this. I contacted the host to let her know we had left the property early and her response was that she was sorry this happened to us and was not offered any compensation or refund. Horrible host and property. "

"The host was great. Good communication. He even reached out to check if we needed to stay longer due to significant inclement weather on the east coast. The accommodations were exactly as described. Could have used toilet paper and coffee filters but we figured it out! "

"I can't say enough about this property. The location was perfect. Right on the water with amazing ocean views and beautiful sunsets. Short drive to Governor's Harbor with great restaurants. The fish fry on Friday's is a must to get the local experience. We fished from the property and caught some small, but unique species. We swam, snorkelled, kayaked. Water was a bit cool, but still amazing. We chartered a fishing trip with Jeremy Lewis who put us on fish even though the conditions weren't the best. Eleuthera exceeded expectations! Deborah and Romell where very responsive and helpful during the whole process. Highly recommend!"

"The cabin is small but well appointed. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. The view is fantastic and can be seen from the bed and kitchen table. We thought it was an excellent location for doing a lot of beach exploring and getting to the ferry to Spanish Wells. Felt very safe and was very quiet. No washer or dryer. Lots of towels, great beach chairs, a cooler, and ice packs for cooler. Near grocery stores and the nice Front porch restaurant( Only place we would drive to at night - mostly had lunch out and simple dinner in). Very comfortable bed. easy parking. "
