A very unique property! It looks just like the photos but it is right on the side of main road & parking is just off the road. They do have security TV on the parking area & it is quiet. It is a very modern, white & cool vibe. We paid $500 Cdn for 2 nights for jungle room. We liked this better because there is no shade on the pool side (it was hot!) and we faced shade with a swing just outside our room so we could watch the monkeys. The room is also white,modern & very comfortable layout. There is no wardrobe but hanging rod at the end of one bed and hanging shelves at the other. 2 sinks - 1 in the W/C and the main one in the room. The safe is a bit interesting as it is small, portable & not attached to anything. The lobby area is open air, a bit small but again unique and could be enjoyable but we found it very warm so headed out for other dinner options. There is a dirt road leading to the public beach access and if you want beach chairs or shade you rent. We did not so I don't know how much they cost. I cannot say enough great things about Sylvia who went above & beyond during check in she was so helpful about the property, Manuel Antonio Park, & topping up my Liberty SIM card! THANK YOU! Head left on the beach and eat at the Magic Bus, & check out the monekys.

Perfect hotel! Looks just like the pictures. It might just be my favorite hotel ever because of the uniqueness of the igloos. The only problem we had was the wifi. Inside our igloo (14) it was so weak it disconnected every 15 seconds.

Great place to stay in Manuel Antonio. Close to Manuel Antonio national park, parking under camera supervision, very clean and nice rooms. Close to the beach, towel service (free) Great location! We had a nice stay here.

We liked the very short walk to the beach and the bus stop in front of the hotel. It's a five minute bus ride to the park entrance and the bus runs every 15 minutes during the day and costs only 380 colones. The staff was helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. The air conditioning struggled at times to adequately cool the room. The rooms could use folding luggage racks.

We liked the Igloos. Our room was very clean and roomy. I would say the big selling point of this property is its location close to the beach. We didn't have any specific complaint but would probably stay next time somewhere closer to the park where we could easily walk to more restaurants and have more natural shade.

Not worth the hype
The customer service needs improvement. If you're looking for somewhere to lay your head and to sit by the pool, then this is for you. The room was simple and clean. If you're wanting added service then choose another hotel. I was on the garden side and the smell of sewage came up through the drain in the shower and the sink. The housekeeper was nice enough to get a plug in air freshner to eliminate the smell.

El personal muy atento, te brindan un coctel de bienvenida, un hotel pequeño pero muy hermoso, la piscina la puedes usar 24 h siempre y cuando no hagas mucho ruido despues de las 10 pm. La cama y las almohadas super cómodas. Nos dieron permiso de salir 1 hora despues del check out, lo que fue un gran detalle. A pocos pasos de playa espadilla que es hermosa, y al frente de un super.

Standard på hotellet er kjempe fint, små hus med kjempe fine rom, god seng og fint interiør. Gode solsenger og fint basseng. Dessverre servicen er dårlig, ingen bagasjerom. Frokosten er kjip og kjedelig, kunn egg, og de har ikke meny til dette, tok par dagen for jeg forsto menyen, og det var bare egg. Ingen av ansatte snakket engelsk. Den ene dagen fikk vi ikke roomservice, måtte be om dette neste dag,så man fikk rene håndklær. Opplegget man blir solgt inn med 20% av på middag hos hotellgjester, den gjelder ikke her. Gartneren er kjempe søt og koselig!

We travelled with 2 young kids and we really had a great time. The best part was walking distance to one of the best beaches in town. The property is neat and clean with friendly staff and breakfast is much better than what you get at other hotels - a la carte. It's a no frill lodge so don't expect Hyatt like amenities (wifi is spotty but works). Overall a great place for a few days at Manuel Antonio.

If you like consistent internet, do not stay here. Very low band and spotty, need more access points throughout the property. Staff service was inconsistent as well. Some were very good but some need additional training. Beds were really comfortable. No luggage stands for your luggage. Inconsistent hot water and low water pressure. Restaurant food was good, morning coffee as well.

Nice place all around. Be warned, due to the unique shape and composition of the rooms (concrete igloos) there is a very noticeable sound effect where someone on the bed from across the room sounds like they are directly behind you. This is not a big deal provided you are not traveling with children for whom the novelity of this effect will never wear off.

Concept was cute. Igloos and grounds were spotlessly clean. Bed made and towels changed every day. Just two comments to improve on. 1, our toilet seat didn’t fit right and only 1 bedside table. We made it work by bringing a stool from outside the front door of our igloo and used it for a bedside table. Lovely experience all round

A one of a kind experience! The igloos are small but we didn't really need anymore space. The pool was nice especially before bed. Wish Netflix was in English. The beach was amazing and just a short walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Cute, clean rooms and close walk to both the beach and Manuel Antonio Park. We ate in the restaurant a few times and enjoyed the food, which was reasonably priced. I would only suggest that instead of having only having 3 options for the included breakfast, that they have all their options or at least 5-6 choice. The other guests were also very friendly! Great atmosphere overall. If we are back that way, I would stay there again.

the whole property was unique and an experience in itself. It is not even a block off this beautiful, serene beach that offers everything and is full of Manuel Antonio animals. Breakfast was terrific and the hotel dog, Nikki, greeted us every morning and evening. We loved the whole experience!

The property is gorgeous and the igloos are so cool. The acoustics in the whoops and the set up makes them feel like a spa. The breakfast is really good and tasty. It’s 2 minute walk to a expansive beach and also really close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Manuel Antonio national part is 15 minutes walk from the igloos. Highly recommend it.

Loved our stay at Igloo Beach. Didn't realize how close they were to the beach. Staff is so friendly. The food onsite was great. We got the breakfast included package and that was amazing. We ate at the restaurant for other meals too, because the food was delicious. They also have various tours available to book right at the hotel. All in all, fantastic stay all around.
