Unfortunately, the rooms are mouldy. We are told that that’s what you get in Costa Rica. We had switched rooms and even went to look at a couple others and they all were in similar state. I’m very sensitive/allergic to mold, so it was less than ideal to say the least. The second room that we stayed in some renovations, as there was paint or caulking on the mirror and countertop.
Breakfast was fair at best. It was served at a vegetarian restaurant in front of the hotel. Honestly, I don’t think they know how to cook eggs and bacon.
The staff were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Location is great. Right near the restaurants. Not too far from the beach.
