"It was easy to check in and get the key . The Place is a well prepared for travelers . Even if you forgott something they have it . It is like your own home . Everything is in order . Nice setup . Clean . Owner is a sweetheart. Restaurant , giftshop , gas station , liquor store is in walking distance . Chrystal caves as well . Close to Rum point where is plenty to do . We had an amazing vacation . Thanks to The Place !"

"Only a few issues. We could not find the entry gate at night on arriving and received incorrect description of the gate. Better lighting and signage would help. The sliding doors inside need inserts or handles to allow efficient opening and closing. Listing showed ping pong table but there was none. Otherwise, all was great! "

"What a beautiful property with enough space and everything we needed for a family of six. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We used the pool, the lanais, combed the beach and even saw some wildlife, right in the yard! This house is a gem, what find!!"

"Our family of 4 spent a week at the Yellow House. Communication with the host via the VRBO app was easy and timely. Check-in and check-out were simple and straight forward. Everything mentioned in the listing was accurate and the wifi was blazing fast for those that needed to do a little work. The pool was well kept and we used it more than I thought we would. The location was perfect for us as we were not interested in the crowds of 7 Mile Beach, but you need a rental car if you stay here. The little beach across the street is nice to sit and enjoy the view, but not that great to settle in for a day at the beach. For that you need to drive to other public beaches or Rum Point. We drove to George Town several times for dinners and a boat charter - it is a pleasant 30-45 minute drive and it is easier than expected to get used to driving on the left side of the road. BUT - there are many hidden gems nearby to try for lunch and dinner (get the burger at the Czech Inn Grill). The guide provided by the host was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental for a party of 4 looking for a laid-back vacation. We are not divers, but we did eat at Eagle Rays. It is close and geared toward divers - with boats departing from that location. The only room for improvement would be updating the linens, pillows, and mattresses; however, this did not affect my rating. I imagine sourcing such items isn't easy on an island. The house is clean and a great value. "
