"First time in Africa and visiting Cairo. I was able to arrange pickup from airport late into the evening and had a very nice drive from the airport to the hotel. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable. The hotel was very nice and big with different types of people from around the world staying there. I will reserve a room in the future when I return to Cairo. "

Not happy with location, payment, breakfast

"Location : It is extraordinary difficult to find the entrance especially over the weekend as it is crazy crowded near the entrance. We had to drag our luggages and go through the crowd to enter the main building. In the building it was not easy to find the main door, and we had to go up and down multiple time with a no so safe elevator. Payment: I had to pay the fee at the hotel and wanted to pay in Egyptian pound, but I was told I can only pay in $, or the equal amount in Egyptian pounds but with THE BLACK market exchange rate, which was almost double of what I exchanged my $. (1$=31 EGP, vs 50EGP in black market) Breakfast: it was way below expectations, very simple, not much variety, it took them almost 10 min to give us bread. "

"1. The hotel is not near Ramses Train Station as shown on the map on hotels.com (Google the address listed for correct location) 2. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mould - there had been no attempt to clean it. I’m used to backpacking and budget hotels but this is the worst I’ve ever stayed in. 3. Images of foyer are incorrect (the hotel is being refurbished so the images shown are now a construction site) 4. Completely overpriced for what it is compared to other hotels in Cairo. The sole reason for booking this hotel was that it was located near the main train station. "
