Everything is exactly as pictured in the photos. We enjoyed a ceviche class one night and they set up a bonfire for us on the beach another night - both excellent and well thought-out. The staff in the dining room and bar are so friendly and helpful and always available! The breakfast was excellent, we loved the juices and bread...

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Capitanna. The view is amazing and so was the food. We had their pizza and the breakfast was great (specifically the bread). Can't say enough good things about the hospitality as well everyone was so nice and we really loved the dogs. They went on a walk with us both days to keep us company. "

There is a tennis court and even a nice botanical garden (!), which I enjoyed a lot! There were also some cute zorritos to see around the area :)"

Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, with comfortable bedding. Big shower cubicle. Staff is very responsive, my Spanish is not the greatest, so sometimes things got lost in translation, but we managed. Oh, did I mention that the hotel has 12 cats?"
