I know the rest of the reviews are 5 stars so I really do feel bad for not rating this as high. But I need to be completely honest for future renters. When my family and I first got there, the lights, ceiling fans, tvs and internet did not work. Sent a message to the owner and was able to get it fixed by resetting a breaker. The next day, the air conditioner stopped working. The house got up to 82°. It was so hot we had to leave the house. I tried resetting the breaker for the AC, and the main breaker. It didn’t work. I sent a message to let the owner know it wasn’t working and we needed to leave. A friend of the owner’s came over while we were gone and fixed the air conditioner. The breaker for the fans, lights, tv and internet kept flipping so we had to fix it everyday. On Wednesday, the air conditioner stopped working again so I let the owner know. After my husband and I both kept messing with the breaker, we finally got it to stay on. On Thursday, the air conditioner started leaking water all over the garage so once again I had to send a message to the owner. It was a known issue and I was told it is from the air conditioner working too hard. We kept the thermostat set to 72 during the day and 74 at night. At the same time as all of this, the breaker for the lights, fans, tv and internet flipped again, only this time it wouldn’t reset. The owner said they were going to have someone come the next morning to clean up the mess in the garage and also get a hold of an electrician to fix the issue with the breaker. I never received another message after that. No electrician ever came. We chose this house because it is close to someone we were visiting and because it looked great from the pictures and had all 5 star reviews. I also work from home and having internet allowed me to travel and work. But between the breaker and the air conditioner, I was not able to do my job from this home. If you aren’t going to be at the house or if you don’t mind dealing with the breaker box everyday and contacting the owner everyday, then go ahead and book this house. I personally don’t think this is worth the money. The carpet in the master bedroom really needs to be replaced. It is crunchy and there are wrinkles everywhere. The bed in the master bedroom could use a new mattress. You can feel every spring in your back. The other two beds were fine according to my children, I did not sleep on those. I’m sorry, I can’t leave a higher review but I need to be honest.
