I enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space for two people. The hotel is very close to Malecón boardwalk and lots of restaurants in Zona Romántica. Walking distance to the beach and staff was very friendly. This is a “no frills” hotel so just expect the basics, but it’s a great value and very safe.

The lighting was garish. No lamps for mood lighting. No outlets next to the bed to charge phones. Loud and echoing. Toilet needed fixing. Bathroom door didn’t latch. No privacy barriers between balconies. They offered coffee in the hallway in the morning, but it was instant, without cream or even artificial creamer.

The staff at the property were amazing! I asked for a mini-fridge and had it delivered to my room within minutes. The front desk staff are super friendly and the room cleaning crew will actually remember you from previous stays. Will absolutely go back!

Very calm at night. Close to the beach and good restaurants. Nice breeze. No need for air conditioning. The suite is large and very nice with a balcony, two complete bathrooms but the hide a bed is not confortable at all. The floors should be cleaned on a more regular basis.

Our stay at Blaze was perfection! Our suite was large, well appointed, and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was convenient and well enjoyed by our kids, albeit a bit cold - we didn’t mind. Just a couple of blocks from the malecon and perfectly situated for a relaxing holiday. I have no doubt we will be back! Thanks Blaze hotel and staff for a wonderful week!

Es un hotel dentro de una colonia popular pero a dos cuadras de la zona turística. Es un hotel pequeño. No cuentan con ciertas cosas, como caja de seguridad en la habitación, o secadora de cabello, o mini bar. El personal es muy servicial. Nos consiguieron una silla para bañar a una persona con discapacidad. Me gustó que desde el hotel pude ir a toda la zona turística.

Just okay
It was okay - the staff are very friendly and helpful plus the pool is super nice but the rooms were sub-par. Our AC was broken and didn't seem to do the temperature properly so we were freezing most nights, the cleanliness was questionable (towels had stains on them, floors didn't feel like they were swept properly) and our shower door was broken and didn't close properly so we had to use a 2L waterbottle to keep it closed while we showered. I would not stay here again unfortunately

Not the usual place I stay when I visit Puerto Vallarta, but this hotel is great and exceeded my expectations. The staff is awesome, check in was easy and quick, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and I felt like a valued guest. The pool was nice and refreshing and was rarely used by other guests when staying here. The area was superb and super close to the malecón with a lot places to eat and shop. My only issue is now I have another option to choose from. Decisions decisions! Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Las personas se recepción (Marta y Rommel) son excepcionales. Muy muy amables. Las habitaciones muy cómodas e impecables y te ponen agua de cortesía Fue genial que me prestaran una cafetera. Ubicado en una parte tranquila a muy pocos minutos de la “movida”. Sería fantástico que sirvieran desayuno.

Great small hotel in the Heart of PV. Updated clean room. Bed was comfortable. Rooftop deck was great place to watch the sunset. Can walk to almost everything. Secure parking was limited but always had enough room for us.

We liked the location, within easy walking if the malacon. It was very convenient. A bit noisy, but, hey, you're in downtown PV! A small fridge would be an asset. But, all in all, clean, comfortable and convenient.

There is absolutely no room service as there is NO dining room or restaurant. There are no coffee machines in the rooms or phones to the front desk. Nearest coffee shop is blocks away. Only a few rooms have balconies, the rest are street view which are noisy and no balconies. Staff are friendly and helpful however the hotel is not what Expedia offered. Expedia for the fail.

Room very noisy. Would shake when truck drove by on street. Thin walls. Small room and bathroom- overpriced. The woman who was at the desk when I arrived was very welcoming and helpful. Different staff member at desk next day who could not give me recommendations were to go for breakfast nearby. No power outlet near bed.

Clean, modern and good staff. No amenities such as cups or a hair dryer or coffee maker. No bar or food service in the hotel but close to many restaurants. Good value but plain Jane.

Clean, Friendly and Great Location
Staff were wonderful. Everything was very clean. Great location, quiet at night but only a few blocks to the Malecon. We felt very safe. Pool area is very small. 6 lounge chairs with only 4 cushions and a table with 6 chairs around it. Disappointing that certain people treated it as a resort and put towels and books on lounge chairs in the early morning and then didn't come back until the late afternoon. There should be a sign posted to stop guests from doing this. For the booking price there should have been many more amenities. I've never stayed at a hotel that offered so little! No drinking glasses, coffee maker (including in the lobby, ice, bedside clock, balcony chairs, fridge...nothing except furniture, towels, shower gel and 2 bottles of water a day. Even if you don't want to put a coffee maker in the rooms at least have a pot of coffee on the go in the lobby in the morning! For what it would cost to do that your guests would probably re-book in the future. I probably wouldn't book again simply because there should've been more for the booking price. Also, it's advertised with balconies and the balcony is about 2 feet wide with no chairs or tables. The only way to use the balcony was with the interior chairs placed sideways. Motion sensor lighting on the stairs and hallways was inadequate as you were halfway down the hall before they came on and same with the stairs. WIFI in the rooms was almost non-existant.

Fantastic location and walkable for all of our restaurant, shopping and wandering needs. Pool is quant and very quiet and refreshing. Marta and the gentleman who works at the front desk during the day are the very best, so helpful, friendly, respectful and professional as well as the housekeepers. Our room was huge and overlooked the pool area which we found very pleasant. We will definitely stay there again while visiting PV.

The property is perfectly located in the art district and a five minute walk to the beach. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. My room was clean and spacious and maid service made my bed each morning. I recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again.

This is a botique hotel and walking distance to the Malecon eastside, close to the Casino. The malecon is just four blocks away. The hotel is clean. It has a small swimming pool on the ground floor. They have an elevator going to all the floors. You can see a panoramic view of the beach and portion of the city of Puerto Vallarta from the fourth floor. I was told that this is a family owned hotel and sometimes the owner stays at the penthouse on the fourth floor. They do not serve breakfast however there are a lot of restaurants int he area. The Cathedral is about three blocks away from the hotel. A block away is the main road where you can take public transport. Rooms have very basic amenities. They provide you with complimentary bottled water. The beds are comfortable. They have airconditioning system, a good hot shower, basic toiletries, wifi and a tv with english channels. They don't have a safe for your valuable. The staff are very welcoming especially Rene who is assigned at the front desk in the morning. The cleaning lady, Esperanza is also very hospitable, so is the guy that is assigned at the front desk in the evening ( I forgot his name ). The area is very quiet and safe. This is one of the most convenient hotel that I have found in Downtown Old Vallarta and I will surely go back there again.

A nice hotel close to the Malecon
I visit Puerto Vallarta often. Times to hotel that I normally go does not have vacancies at least not for the whole time I want to stay. So I was looking for another nice place to stay. The hotel is very close to the Malecon. It is modern. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are good. There is a very nice shower with good water pressure and definitely enough hot water. The only thing I did not like was that it was very loud in the evening those two nights that I stayed there, Friday night and Saturday night. There was loud music and singing coming from somewhere very close until after midnight. This is not the hotel’s fault but it’s something to be noted. It may be quite disturbing and annoying to slight sleepers who go to bed on the early side.
