"Shockingly nice and clean. Former Sisters resident who never thought much of this place. Understated but inside: well-apportioned room with new/modern bed, bedding, furniture. Loved the low-intensity (incandescent) lighting. Very quiet. Will no doubt stay again. "
"I grew up in Eugene and spent many days on the McKenzie River. We’ve been out of state for many years now but still come back to Oregon as often as we can. This was the perfect property to enjoy reminiscing with some of our grown children. Very cozy setting and everything we needed. We caught one of the Pineapple Express storms that I remember growing up and even had a long power outage where we enjoyed the wood stove and improvising. The host was helpful throughout our stay and kept us updated on the power outage. The sound of the river was so therapeutic! The only drawback really was not having more time…we’ll definitely be coming back!"
"We found this to be a cozy and welcoming cabin with a view of the river. The listing and photos described the property exactly. Very clean. Kitchen area is compact but well equipped. There is a 2-burner electric cooktop and microwave, no oven. Beds are comfortable. The 3-sided windowed nook with the additional queen bed was a great place to chill out. Very dog friendly - water dish, dog towels, poo bags. Try the pizza at Takoda’s Restaurant and take the time to hike Sahalie Falls. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to a return trip."
"Rented the unit for a 5 day fishing/hiking adventure on the river with a long time friend. We couldn’t possibly have been more pleased with everything about the home and the rental process! From the decor to the well appointed bedrooms, showers, kitchen and relaxing living room we just felt lucky to have found and secured the home! It’s a very special place right along the river with great access to many of the commercial businesses nearby while also feeling so remote in the Cascade foothills. Would definitely return and couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks again for all your attention to every detail. "
The North Bank Cabin,100ft private McKenzie Riverfront, Grill, 20min to Falls
10/10 Excellent
"It was more rustic than I expected but very comfortable. The deck space was relaxing and nice. It's a great spot to enjoy the sounds of nature and we didn't see any neighbors while we were there. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but additional drinking glasses and some wine glasses would have been nice. There are restaurants and a store surprisingly close by and the Obsidian Grill even offers some gluten free and vegan options. Two very minor complaints about the house: 1. It has some funky smells - old home where someone used to smoke? and mildew/mold in bathroom. 2. There is no streaming service on the TV. I like to stream a movie or show in the evening after a day of hiking. The DVDs I was most interested in watching were empty cases. Overall though this was a great experience and the home is located right near lots of beautiful waterfalls and trails. I would recommend it!"

"The check in process was easy and quick. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cooking utensils and dishes. Deck chairs would have been nice. All in all, the house was a lovely place to stay for our family."
