"This is an historic site (former sugar warehouse from the 1700s) tastefully renovated into bedrooms facing onto internal courtyards and corridors open to the outside and filled with flowering plantings and arrangements. It is centrally located in Kingstown: a walk from the ferries to the islands, and to an array of markets and stalls. Street BBQs happen most Friday and Saturday evenings. Breakfasts are simple but delicious and all from locally sourced food. Staff are kind and attentive. Water is solar heated so can be luke warm at times. WiFi access can be intermittent depending on the location of the room (stone walls). Room furnishings could be updated."
"This place was exactly what we were hoping for. The villa setup was perfect for our family—plenty of space, comfortable, and made the whole stay feel easy and relaxed.
The beach was excellent, and the overall setting is hard to beat. Great views, great atmosphere, and everything felt well put together. The location is a big win too—you can walk to just about everything, which made getting around simple and enjoyable.
The manager was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. On top of that, the food was consistently great, which really rounded out the experience.
We absolutely loved it and would come back without hesitation."
"The hotel has a lot going for it, especially the setting. The pool area offers a great view and is a relaxing place to spend time, though the pool itself could have been cleaner. One of the bigger disappointments was that several advertised amenities weren’t available during our stay—the beach club was closed, along with some of the restaurants and the pool bar. That took away from the overall experience and value.
That said, the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, which made a positive difference throughout the trip. The drinks were well made and enjoyable, but the food service was noticeably slow—even when the restaurant wasn’t busy—which became frustrating at times.
Overall, we still had a good experience and enjoyed our stay, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations given what was advertised. With a few improvements and more consistency in what’s open and available, this could easily be a much stronger experience."
"If you want a wonderful team and a beautiful location with access to good restaurants, the beach, and sub-30 minutes into Kingstown, this is your place. They were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to return again."

8/10 Good
"Overall, this is a beautiful resort with some highs and a few frustrating downsides. I’d rate it an 8/10.
The property itself is stunning, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The food was honestly a standout—10/10 across the board. The complimentary water sports during the day were also a great perk, and there was rarely much of a wait for those.
That said, the room could have been cleaner, and the mini fridge isn’t restocked unless you specifically ask, which felt like something that should be automatic. Service overall was mixed—some staff were excellent, but others weren’t very friendly and didn’t seem too welcoming.
One big thing: I would not recommend getting a butler. It really didn’t add much value and was actually a bit inconvenient at times. The only real benefit was helping secure beach or pool chairs, which are otherwise very hard to get. If you skip the butler, I’d suggest renting a cabana instead—the service there was better anyway.
The boat transfer to the hotel was nice and scenic, but not necessarily faster than taking a cab, especially since there was still a wait.
Be prepared for “island time”—service can be slow, whether it’s waiting for food at restaurants or getting assistance from staff. Also, the crowd tends to be older (50s–60s), and things quiet down pretty early, so don’t expect much nightlife after 11pm.
The weather was a mix of sun and quick rain showers, but it didn’t take away from the experience since it usually cleared up fast.
