The hotel's location is its biggest advantage. It's a good choice for a short city break, as you get what you pay for. The train station and most of the main tourist attractions are within a 15-20 minute walk.
However, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms and the overall atmosphere feel like stepping back 30 years. The bed was a little squeaky, but it didn't affect my sleep.
I appreciated that the room included all the basic amenities, such as toiletries, a shoe brush and shoehorn, a shower cap, a comb, soap, as well as clean towels and fresh bed linen.
Overall, I wouldn't rate this hotel higher than 3 out of 5 stars. The excellent location makes up for many of its shortcomings, but if you're looking for modern facilities and comfort, this may not be the best choice.

Excellent stay in the center of Riga! I was born there, but left the country young, so being there as a tourist was an interesting experience!
Very centrally located, the trains and trams 5-7 min away by foot, great budget self- service restaurant Lido is 7 min by foot, plenty of supermarkets, shops, and stores! Old town about 12 min by foot.
Check-in for easy, the staff is excellent, I had an issue with Internet connection, received instructions but QR code to open the door was downloading for some time so I messaged the staff and they got back to me right away sending QR code to WhatsApp number!
It’s a bit noisy since it’s on the main street. I used air plugs no problem for me since it’s the city and noise is expected.
Kitchen appliances work well I used stove once and had a trouble turning on against staff. Member reached out to me on the timely manner and everything went well. I recommend this place for a stay if you’re looking to explore old town to be in the center and enjoy the most delicious food that I still remember when I was a child.

The hotel is quiet and has good facilities. They offer a great breakfast. Room was clean but could use some repairs such as the caulking around the shower and the floor of the shower. The towels also need renovating. Overall we were happy with our choice.
