It seems this house is similarly historic, which is amazing to think about. It is fully renovated and has all the modern conveniences, a real gem of a place. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. 「This apartment is a very well situated property. It has VERY BASIC amenities. That being said, it was very clean, quiet and very close to the beach and food market. There are so many restaurants nearby and the funicular that leads to the cliff view of the giant waves is within walking distance. You’ll pass by many restaurants. 2euros up 2euros down. 」

「Great location. Nice property. There are stairs and access to the sleeping area would be a problem if you have any physical issues. Having a car park was great but a narrow entrance and steep drive out. OK if you can drive spatially. Easy walk to Metro and walking tour. Overall it was excellent.」

「Small, one bedroom apartment. Parts of this old neighborhood are still being updated/renovated, which is part of the charm. We parked in a parking garage a few blocks away. Google Maps took us through a winding maze of narrow streets and alleys directly to the unit. A little confusing at check-in, but host answered my call and walked me through how to get in. She only speaks a little English (I speak no Portuguese) but we were able to figure it out. Nothing fancy, but a very reasonable price and...
