Note that the management keeps the remote control for AC and if you need it, they charge a daily fee of 10EUR per day. The communication with the manager has been very difficult since the beginning. "We were warmly welcomed by Miguel, the owner/manager of the place. We experienced a slight inconvenience with our room at arrival, but Miguel quickly offered us a solution, which was suitable and much appreciated. The view from the terrace was incredible! This is related to the town and not to the lodging, but for dining options, at the time of the year that we went (early June) there were not much choices. But overall, a good experience! :)"

Exceptional view and location

"We had a fantastic stay at Pike Cliffs. The location was excellent, allowing us to easily get to Lajes for whale watching and the whaling museum, Madelena for the nearby vineyards (and best grocery store), and, of course to Mt. Pico, which my oldest daughter climbed. The terrain is unique and varied across the island, unlike anything we’d ever seen before. The view from Pike Cliffs was stunning, we never tired of looking over the fields and cows to the ocean. Check out the photos and you will see what I mean. Highly recommend the coastal park leading to Baia das Canas which is near to the house and C Bistro in Sao Roque which was the best restaurant we tried (especially if you like cats!) Francisco was very responsive and with three bedrooms and two full baths we had plenty of room so everyone had their own space. Highly recommend. "

"Really friendly staff, Miguel was particularly helpful. Comfortable room with good breakfast. Complimentary tea was available in the Reception area during our stay, which was much appreciated. Walking distance from shops. Parking can be a bit tricky, but perhaps they have additional spaces we were not aware of"
