"Did not even come close to our expectations. We checked in just to have somewhere to catch our breath and look for alternative accommodation. Left without talking to the host as we didn't want to waste any more time there. It was a converted garage and the so called courtyard was non excistent as your car needed to be parked in what was in fact the driweway."

"Our stay at La Casa del Borgo, Brienza was exceptional... Felice was so kind to make sure that we found the apartment and parking. He had even stocked it with most needs, as well as snacks and fresh baked cake. It is well appointed for our use, really clean and so comfortable. "This hotel was booked mainly on price but after booking in, we decided to stay for the week. Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. Get with the program hotes.com The hotel is close to everything you need without having to walk for more than a few minutes and has few tourists. Great museum, which Vittorio allowed us to visit while it was supposedly closed, great pizza bars and the most amazing tiny local restaurant, Da Vincento, look it up, I am not going to give away all my secrets. Anyway, if you want to escape the heat, head for this delightful mountain town. Highly recommended."

"My wife and I stayed here after a very long flight filled with cancellations and delays. We needed a place to rest and recharge. The hotel is beautiful and well kept, the staff were courtesy and accommodating. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed . The pool area was beautiful with a nice little bar. Overall is was a great stay for a few days and would definitely recommend for a few days."
