I'd like to give this a 4.5 overall rating rather than a 4 or a 5. I'd like to have had better pillows, but otherwise was quite comfortable. It's in a great location with easy parking. It was very close to folks we were visitin g, which is a huge plus. Communication was timely, informative, and very friendly.
Super comfy beds, really cute house. Dog friendly but be aware the fence is pretty short! Not an issue for mine. Neighborhood seemed pretty quiet at night and the parking in the alley behind was great so we didnt have to street park.
Moving to Portland, we needed a place to stay while we waited for the moving truck and got our place set up. This house fit the bill- nearby and comfortable. The front yard is fenced, which the dog enjoyed. We had to make date adjustments several times, and the owner was very accommodating.
We stayed for five days while visiting a friend who lived across the street so the location was absolutely perfect! The front bedroom is bright and airy and had a desk so I could get a little work in. The back bedroom is cozy and great for someone who needs total darkness when they sleep. The kitchen was '50s adorable and I appreciated the tea and supplies as well as the thoughtful amenities in the bathroom and throughout the house. As someone else mentioned, the heater was loud but just for the first few minutes. The place overall was nice and clean though the bathroom rug needed a good shaking outside. My only real issue was a noticeable animal smell, probably from a previous guest but they had a scented wax warmer that mostly did the trick. Both the front and back years were lovely and I had to stop and smell the amazingly fragrant blooming roses in front every time I walked by them, lol. Overall, I would 100% stay again.
I stayed here a week with my dog while looking for apartments after moving to Portland. We loved every minute of it! It’s a cute little house fifteen minutes from downtown with big comfy couches, a front and back yard with parking in the alley, tons of parks and coffee shops in walking distance and it’s not a busy location. It was super clean and well taken care of. I wish id met the owner, he has very unique taste!! The central heating unit tended to be quite loud when starting and stopping but I had no problem with turning it off at night and using the smart thermostat to schedule it to turn back on in the morning. January mornings are cold in Oregon. Street noise was low and the back bedroom is especially quiet. Management was very quick to respond and helpful, as I had to extend my stay by a few days at the last minute. It’s an old house with some eccentric decor but the privacy and comfort was exceptional. I’d recommend friends and family to stay here if they visit Portland. Thanks!
Clean and cozy dog-friendly bungalow at a good price. Loved the full kitchen, gated front yard, and walkable neighborhood. Road noise takes getting used to, but it's the tradeoff for a good location! Host was very commucative.

Cute house. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and bars. Nice little kitchen for cooking if you want to save on dinning out. Really convenient for the event I was attending. Will book again if I have the chance.
Great little place only downside is no washer and dryer would be nice to be able to wash your sheets and or anything else. Laundry facilities close by but I’m not wanting to hang out in SE PDX at a laundromat. Great privet backyard with off street parking
