Quiet Spacious Woodstock Retreat with large backyard
Welcome to our Woodstock Retreat! We have no doubt this home will be the perfect option for your stay while you enjoy Portland, and all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Perfect for families and professionals, this chic and comfortable space features a modern design, vaulted living space, chef’s kitchen, comfortable furniture, and lots of natural light! This home is the perfect place to relax after a hard day of work or play. Get an excellent night’s sleep on the extremely comfortable beds and enjoy the rainfall showers in the bathrooms. Kick back on the enormous deck with a cup of coffee or a local brew. Snuggle up by the fireplace (remote-controlled!) with a good book or watch a movie.
A quiet street and peaceful atmosphere make this the perfect spot for relaxation. Enjoy exploring the surrounding neighborhood and easily walk to coffee shops, restaurants, grocers, and Woodstock Park (beautiful 14 acre park only a block away)!
The House -
*The Living/Dining Room:
The open plan living space, with vaulted ceilings and large windows, fills the house with light. The living room features a remote-controlled gas fireplace, wall mounted TV with a Roku, and comfortable seating with a pullout sofa bed (full size). A split unit AC and Heater is equipped for all-season comfort.
The large dining table accommodates up to 6. After dinner, you can have fun playing our board games, or relax working on a jigsaw puzzle.
Additionally, there is full size desk with a chair, two 32” monitors for your remote work or tech needs. The house has fast internet (fiber) and WiFi for your streaming and working requirements.
*Kitchen:
A fully equipped spacious chef’s kitchen, with a gas range and island will have you cooking up something fresh from New Seasons Market. The bar seating allows you to chat with friends and family while preparing delicious food for all. There is also a dishwasher, microwave, KitchenAid mixer, blender, and many other small appliances to help keep cooking and clean up simple.
*Laundry Room:
There is a full-size washer and dryer in the Laundry Room off the kitchen. Washing detergent and dryer sheets are provided for you.
*Master Bedroom/Bathroom:
The Master Bedroom is situated away from the common area of the house and the second bedroom. It features a dreamy Tempurpedic King mattress and ample closet space for suitcases and shopping sprees (Oregon is sales tax-free!). There is an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower that has a spa-like overhead rainfall showerhead.
*Second Bedroom:
The second bedroom sits off the main living space and has a comfy queen-sized pillowtop mattress. There is a built-in desk area with a chair, two 24” monitors and a printer for your remote work or tech needs. This room makes the perfect nest for the night owls in the house or for little ones who want to snuggle.
*Second Bathroom:
The accessible bathroom located down the hall is easily available for daily use. This is a full bath with Shower/Tub combo, toilet, and vanity sink.
*Outdoor Deck and Backyard:
Lounging on the enormous deck overlooking the backyard is a great way to wind down after sight-seeing/visiting college campus’/seeing family/working/Paddle Boarding on the Willamette/eating too many sausages at Otto’s.
The deck has a full table with seating for 6, a stainless steel Ducane propane BBQ, a 4-chair lounging set, 2 large cantilevered umbrellas, and outdoor games.
The private backyard has a large grass and clover area for playing games and is fully fenced and for those traveling with kiddos or a pet.
Other things to note -
This house is divided with two fully separate units. Each unit has their own private entrance with a unique personal code for access. They each have separate private fenced back yards. There are no shared spaces.
*Safety:
We take your safety seriously and are fully licensed and permitted through the City of Portland. The home is up to code, fire and carbon monoxide alarms are annually tested, and we carry short-term renters’ insurance. This house has passed all of its inspection and its licensure with flying colors, so your safety and the security of your reservation will never be in jeopardy.
Pets -
Dogs are welcome at the Woodstock Retreat and have a fully fenced area to sniff and explore. Additionally, the home has a doggie door (17.5” tall by 10” wide) with access to the backyard! Please note there is a $40 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $80 (2 pets). Although we are pet-friendly for you and your pets’ safety, we recommend they not be left unattended in the house without someone present, even if in a crate/kennel. Damage costs caused by unattended pets may be requested.
Access and Parking -
Guests will have unique key-code access to their private entrance off 49th Ave.
There is plenty of parking available on 49th Ave in front of the house.
House Rules -
We want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories, while maintaining the peace and quiet of our community. The following are the house rules we ask all guests to abide by:
Please do not smoke tobacco anywhere on the property. There is no smoking of any kind inside the house.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am; please restrict all loud noise during these times.
No loud parties or large gatherings are allowed on the property.
No outside cooking equipment (e.g. BBQ grills) shall be brought onto the property.
