What a fantastic place to stay. Great food, fabulous brew and I love all the small bars and restaurants attached to this property. Great Portland experience.

My daughter and I booked at McMenamins Crystal Hotel as we were attending an event at the Crystal Ballroom which is just one block away. The front desk staff was very helpful getting us checked in early, then held our bags on checkout date we were not leaving until late in the evening. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also such a pleasure. Room was clean, service provided great. We will totally book again when we go back to Portland.

Really nice stay! This place has a vibe. The soaking pool is really enjoyable. I almost didn't reserve due to not having a bathroom in the room, however it was completely reasonable using the shared bathroom space. The bathroom was spotless.

I loved the style and vibes of this hotel! I personally love staying in quirky funky places and this met the mark for me- but for guests who need more privacy or easy and accessible parking, I'd skip this pla. The location is great for exploring downtown Portland, two blocks from Powell's and close to so many shops!

We love love love all of the McMenamins brands and this was no exception. Super cool building, wonderful food and drink and the staff was incredible. Couldn’t recommend more.

A fun and quirky place to stay near great restaurants, bars and Powell’s Bookstore. The large, hot soaking tub is amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel itself was fine, rooms were put together tragically. At least the room we had, we had to move stuff to move stuff to get around. No flow to the room itself. Windows wouldn’t stay open unless you propped them up and of course, there was nothing provided to do so ( we asked twice ). besides that, it was. Nothing great, just fine.

The rooms were clean and fully stocked with clean towels. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a great experience. I love staying at any of the McMeniman's hotels but the Crystal was truly special.

Staff was kind and accommodating, when I told the bartender my budget he immediately pointed me towards a local bar that was within my price range. The underground pool was very interesting even though I didn't use it those who did loved it. That being said my room was very dusty, the AC filters were caked in dust. The bathrooms were clean enough but they are 4-6 per floor instead of in the room. I would heavily advise bringing shower shoes and trunks/bathing suit for the showers and underground pool. To summarize I enjoyed my stay and would heavily recommend it especially if you have a love of history. It is also within walking distance of the Union Station and Roseland Theater.
