Perfect

This was our second stay at Beth’s home, and it certainly won’t be the last (as long as she’s willing to have us!) Everything is absolutely perfect. Beth is a thoughtful host, the location is perfect and the home is beautiful - you can’t go wrong!

Weekend getaway

This place was perfect for a weekend of quiet and comfort. It was close to downtown and every thing we wanted to do or a place to eat. Best is awesome as a host!

Very comfortable. Handsomely designed, furnished, well-equipped and stocked including milk and OJ and decaf Earl Grey tea that hit the spot when we arrived on a rainy evening.

Excellent apartment near Back Cove

We had a delightful stay in Beth’s super clean and well setup apartment. It was located just a block from Back Cove providing good walking opportunities. It is about 2 miles from downtown Portland, but we didn’t have any problems driving in and parking for everything we wanted to do. Kitchen is well equipped. Comfortable living room seating. King bed was great. If I had to search for a negative, did not love the washer dryer combo. Everything else was perfect.

Delightful

The place was impeccable. That coming from a neat freak. So many thoughtful gestures from fresh milk and OJ to blankets and shampoo and conditioner. Every possible need taken care of. Beth was lovely to met and offered suggestions. The gift card to stand baking company was just above and beyond. We will be back

Will Stay Again!

This place is a gem. So well appointed, comfy bed. Beth was a delight to deal with; communication was open and easy. Everything we wanted and needed was no more than an eight minute drive. Water views were an added bonus! Will definitely stay here again when it's just the two of us.

Luxury Stay

Very Inviting VRBO

My wife and I came to Portland to escape the heat of Charlotte and have some fresh seafood. We were not disappointed! The apartment was sspacious and very well appointed. I read a previous review about the unit having a damp smell/feel but neither my wife nor I detected it. We did enjoy the waterview and the proximity to town. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked to cook. Overall, we had a great time and we appreciated meeting the host. Beth, Thank You for going above board to make our trip special. We had a great time.

Beautiful Place with perfect location

We had a great day stay at Back Cove Hideaway! It is as described with nice extra touches! The outdoor view is beautiful. Location is great to Old Town and close to many restaurants. Beth was great with communication and recommendations. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

Beth was an amazing host ~ thoughtful, friendly and responsive though we had no issues. Property was even more wonderful than the photos and her personal touches were so appreciated! The Back Cove was beautiful and quiet and yet close enough to the port area for activities and dining. Would highly recommend this property if you find yourself in the Portland, ME area!

Portland First Timers

This apartment was immaculately clean and comfortable. The location was convenient to so many attractions. The landscaping was beautiful, as was the view of the water from the living room. The extras which Beth provided—breakfast drinks, a gift card to a bakery, and lots of little notes around the apartment—were much appreciated, as was the long list of recommendations from previous visitors. We could not have made a better choice of where to stay.
