Absolutely perfect stay. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were impeccable. Owner and son were beyond helpful and made you feel right at home. Wish we could have stayed many more nights. There is no other place I would stay when visiting Kennebunkport. Will be back in the future for sure!!
This is an awesome place with an awesome host. Breakfast was unique but good. Want a great place to stay walking distance to downtown this is it. Amazing
The B&B is charming, the rooms and bathroom and clean and comfortable, the staff is incredibly friendly and the breakfast was absolutely incredible. Good location, only a short walk to the town center. Highly recommend and hope to stay again sometime!
I have actually never stated a bed-and-breakfast before and I’m so glad I did. The group of people that were staying at the bed-and-breakfast were amazing. I met people who I feel like I will stay in contact with forever. Our host and her son and friend who helped do the cooking were outstanding. They were so kind. I really enjoyed my first bed-and-breakfast experience.
Nice old house with history. Our room was the smallest I have ever stayed in at a bed and breakfast. The staircase was narrow and steep to the second floor. Breakfast was fine. It was over a mile walk to town center so a bit of a hike for some people.
Katherine was so amazing! We loved her! She greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine hug. She made a delicious 3 course breakfast. Could not ask for better service. Our room was petite, clean, quaint and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with an easy walk into town. We really enjoyed our stay!
Parking in town Kennebunkport is challenging, leaving the car at the B&B and walking to town was a breeze. There are also multiple sitting areas outside the Inn for when we needed some quiet time. All in all, I consider this a gem, and look forward to a return in the Fall.
I had a wonderful stay! The property was spotless. The breakfasts were delicious! My room was quite comfortable. I loved the soaking tub! The bed and breakfast is about 1/2 a mile from the downtown area. I liked that it was located somewhere quiet.
The property is for sale. I hope its new owners retain the current staff, who are great!!!
We loved this beautiful inn. The breakfast was exceptional. Grounds and property are impeccably maintained and the innkeeper is a wonderful hostess. It is a beautiful walk to town for those who enjoy a longer walk.
Great place to stay for a getaway. Breakfast is outstanding, hostess and her husband prepare fresh ingredients with three tasty courses.
Rooms are well decorated, clean, bright and comfortable. We stayed there in 2001 and again in 2025. Our favorite in Kennebunk Port.
Stayed in a room built in 1802! Enough said. Great historic building with plenty of charm and personality. Wonderful location to get out of the bustling downtown district. Very friendly hostess as well. Love it.
The staff at the 1802 Inn were welcoming and made us feel comfortable upon arrival. The inn was quaint, decorated for autumn, perfect for an October visit. Joanna and Lars were sociable and never hesitated to sit and chat with my husband and me. This inn does feel like home.
We arrived an hour early and the front door was locked. We had to call a phone number and were told to come back in an hour, not very accomendating. Unfortunately I was in need of a restroom, when I explained the need I was tool "sorry, come back at the check in time". This was not very accomendating. Also breakfast was not served until 9. We had a tour at 9.
, again, not very accommendating. They also charged for glass of happy hour wine. However, accomedations were very clean.
