Located on a quiet street in a beautiful and safe neighborhood, yet 5min walk to NW 23rd, and Washington Park Free Shuttle bus stop & Park entrance is only 2 minutes walk where you will find the famous Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Oregon zoo, Children’s museum and Hoyt Arboretum. https://explorewashingtonpark.org/free-shuttle/

You do not need a car to see Portland if you are staying at our apartment, but if it is necessary for you to bring a vehicle, on street visitor PARKING PERMIT is provided upon request for each night of your stay (Limit One per group, please give us 48 hours to validate it). *Vehicle license REGISTRATION NUMBER is required.

From where we are, you can catch a game at Providence Park stadium within a short walk, and trendy Pearl district or downtown Portland that are all within walking distance. You can also check out Live concerts in Washington Park in summer.

Closest Max light rail station is 7min walk, Goose Hollow/ SW Jefferson, or Providence Park station, It takes you directly to the Portland International Airport.

When you are done exploring all the nearby sights. You will relax in your 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartment with your own entrance through the garage that is street level. Please note there is NO kitchen but cafes, bakeries, restaurants, delis and grocery stores are only a short walk from here. There is a mini refrigerator and freezer to store all the goodies you purchase. A microwave is available in your living room as well as a coffee maker, a variable temperature hot water kettle, plates, cups and silverware. We provide local tea and coffee.

In your bedroom, there is a comfortable queen sized platform bed, a coffee table and chairs. In your living room, you will find a futon couch where you can enjoy reading or lounging. There is also streaming TV in the bedroom and Free WiFi high-speed internet as well as some books and games for your stay.

Children over the age of 7 are welcome but, please contact us if the total number of people is more than two so we can ensure your stay is comfortable and confirm that we can accommodate.

Very cozy and lovely house!

Even though I didn't get to stay to long during the day because of work, it was so nice coming in at night to rest and waking up with the sun through the beautiful bedroom window. I really enjoyed my stay!

Peaceful welcome

Every morning I could walk into Washington Park—the lovely Japanese Garden is an easy walk from this charming place to stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and storage everywhere. I would love to stay here again!

Quiet and clean

This place is in a beautiful and peaceful area! The space is roomy and clean with an enchanting trio of windows that looks into the front garden. Lovely spot!

A cozy apartment in great location

This is a cozy efficiency in very quiet and beautiful neighborhood near the park. Easy walk to park and shops and restaurants on 23rd. Hostess is lovely and all communications with her were prompt and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Love the location. Easy to get to 23rd and downtown. Nice to have Zupans grocery store and coffee shops nearby. The apartment was very easy to function in. Very clean with comfortable bed and big bathroom. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. Will most likely end up staying again.

Great Place - Great Host

This was an excellent place to stay in Portland. Very clean and a nice and quiet neighborhood. It was close to walking paths in Washington Park and all the sights of the park - Japanese Gardens, Rose Garden, etc. The apartment was spotless, and Miyoko was friendly and helpful. We recommend it without reservations

Great location, cozy & clean apartment, and phenomenal host!

This apartment is in a great location right around the corner from Washington Park, close to lots of great food, and within walking distance of shops and breweries. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Miyoko is a fantastic host! She was super helpful and friendly. She even came out to say hi to us. If I'm in Portland again, I will definitely stay here!

Great location, good fit for activity-packed trips to Portland

The property has a great location, being right next to Washington Park and close to major transit lines. The property owner/manager is very friendly and communicative. The rooms themselves are sort of underground and dark, but guests have access to an outdoors patio. Overall, I'd highly recommend this property for folks who are mainly looking for a place to sleep at night. It would be less good of a fit for folks planning to spend a lot of time chilling indoors.

Everything we needed

A well appointed, comfortable apartment with all the essentials. This is our second stay. Our host is always very charming and welcoming. They live on the premises. The location is a few blocks from a bus stop and very convenient to a grocery store and several concert venues. Parking passes are available; don't forget to request one. We will most certainly stay there again.

Wonderful, calm retreat near great stuff!

We had the best time at Miyoko’s home. It was such a relaxing nest for a couple days of exploring Portland. The park a block from the house is gorgeous - definitely take a morning to explore it (we did so by Lime scooter!). 23rd St and surrounding areas are fun to explore. We like exploring neighborhoods on the east side and downtown, too, but it was so easy to get around by scooter, Uber, or bus. Miyoko was helpful with parking our car, too, overall, exactly as advertised, and delightful!

Nice find!

What a wonderful stay! Felt very comfortable and safe in a big city! Enjoyed the art and home decor here. This apartment looks great with much attention to detail. Very clean and well-cared for. The location is ideal. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, my favorites being Thai Bloom (excellent curry dish), Fish and Rice (great sushi), and Kizuki Ramen (wonderful chicken ramen). Just up a block or so is Washington Park, which in certain locations has a free shuttle to take you anywhere in the park. All free rides to the Oregon Zoo, Japanese Garden, Rose Tea Garden, and Hoyt Arboretum. I'm a hiker, and I can say this: Hoyt Arboretum's Redwood Trail is one of the most beautiful trails I have hiked! Perfect place, perfect location.
