This is not a typical B & B. It consists of 4 rooms and a shared kitchenette on the same floor as 2 private apartments in a multi-story building above the pedestrian area. No blow dryer or iron is provided....

"Pulling up to Tenuta Contessa was like a dream. It was a quiet time with very few guests when we stayed. The pool area was lovely but the showstopper was the food and the chef, Pietro. He was personable and made us family style meals according to what we wanted. Very accommodating. The views here are also spectacular surrounding the entire property. "

They even picked us up at the train station in Paola and drove us to attractions we wanted to see! We couldn’t have asked for better service and a better experience.
