    This spacious, beachfront, family-friendly home is perfect for your next getaway to the Florida Panhandle. Steps away from the white sands, this convenient location provides views of wildlife and abundant fishing. This coastal gem has been recently updated with a new refrigerator and stove for the kitchen, washer/dryer, outdoor furniture, and bed linens in all bedrooms. Use the grill to cook out during your stay, enjoying your meal on one of the two decks while gazing at the sunset and the sparkling Gulf. Its central location gives the feel of seclusion while not being too far from town.



    What's nearby:

    While you'll find plenty of beaches and local parks in your immediate neighborhood, there's lots more to do over in downtown Port St. Joe, just 15 miles from your rental. There you can visit George Core Park, home of the historic Cape San Blas Lighthouse, rent a boat from the marina and head out on Saint Joseph Bay for a day of fishing, or keep your feet dry and shop and dine throughout the city.

Anniversary trip

My husband and I were incredibly pleased with this house. It was our first time to visit and stay in this area of Florida. The house had everything we needed. We loved the multiple decks, covered and open. We will be back to this house!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach home in Cape San Blas. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Fantastic location directly on the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to return!

Lovely!

We enjoyed our stay this week. Quick trip. Home is well equipped for a beach stay. Only miss is a Keurig for coffee drinkers. Love the crushed ice maker!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had the most amazing beach vacation in this home. Waking up and being able to walk right down the deck on to the sand was incredible! The house is beautiful and has incredible sunset views. Our only request would be better beach gear as there were only 3 chairs and 1 was broken.

Very Nice Accomodations

Location was awesome. Weather was great considering time of year. Property was cleanand we had everything we needed. Would of liked a couple of more restaurant options nearby but no big deal.

Steps away from the sand!

The house was in a great location and was literally steps away from the beach. Beautiful views too! The house was a great size for a family and was overall well maintained. The appliances did all need to be updated and new outdoor furniture is needed, but other than that, it was overall a really great place to stay.

Excursion

The property was easy to find and access. The nearby conveniences couldn't have been any better, groceries, fresh seafood, donuts and a great take out low country boil made it so easy for our family during COVID-19. The bedding was very comfortable and the view was outstanding. It's a very family oriented beach and our beach neighbors shared the same family values that we appreciate. We loved the house and would recommend this house and Cape San Blas to anyone who needs a relaxing vacation.

Perfect beach, perfect location, clean interior, no funky smells

Property was clean, the location was perfect, the beach was quiet, and the house had everything we needed. Convenience store & ice cream shop was within walking distance. Nice covered & uncovered deck. The outside of the house was dirty but as long as the interior was clean (which it was) we didn't care.

Cape San Blas- home away

Location was everything!! Great info and easy entry. House was more than what we needed, loved the set up. Few issue’s that needs to be looked into- the king size bed felt like it was uneven, slanted with a lump in the middle. Other than that we loved everything about it.. We will be back!!

Lack of maintenance and dirty!

Coackroaches! Mold, Windows leaking Very little hot water in master bedroom Couldn't use the main Sliding door to the deck. No outdoor seating on upper deck. You can see where they are making a few improvements. The outside needs painted so bad it sticks out like the slum house...I could go on but you get the point.

Cape San Blas Never Disappoints

It was our first beach vacation, by ourselves, in 30 years. We had a blast. We met a ton of very nice people on the beach and in the shops. The house was on a great piece of beach and was well equipped. The only criticisms I would have is that a lot of the surfaces including the cabinets and floors were sticky and the back porch offered no cover from the rain. The upper porch, understandibly is uncovered but, there should be something like DryBelow, Deck Drain or some kind of ceiling that would allow you to still sit outside when its raining. The shower is a little outdated as most current showers are larger, more open and user friendly. The grille was ok and is probably a seasonal replacement anyway. The outside of the house certainly shows its age and is in need of extensive repairs or replacement. The lights on the upper deck are rusted out hulks of receptacles and should be replaced or repaired with turtle friendly lights. I would love to buy this property and bring it to the level of the houses on either side. It appears that the current owners either don't care or don't have the financial resources to do so. It's a shame. We had a great time but, this house needs work. Not the fault of Vacasa by any means.
