Beachfront, Bayview, Relax ~ Edgewater Retreat

Edgewater Retreat is just as its name sounds, retreat in peace as close to the water’s edge as possible. Located in the popular Sunrise Sunset complex just north of the rock wall on Cape San Blas, you will find the Gulf of Mexico literally a step away and access to St. Joseph Bay on the opposite side of the road. This three-bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome is an end unit in the southernmost building. With the bike path on the other side of Cape San Blas Rd, access to Scallop Cove is just a short walk away. Or in the other direction, ride your bike to the Pickleball courts at Salinas Park or to listen to live music at the Scallop Republic.

Inside this beautiful unit, the decor is bright and airy, helping maintain those beach vacation vibes. The first floor consists of the main living area—an open space including the kitchen, dining area, and living room, all with incredible beach views. From the gulf front living room, you can access the screened deck furnished comfortably to enjoy the sound of the gulf waves.

At day’s end, retreat upstairs to one of the three bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep. From the gulf front, master bedroom, you can gaze across the horizon from the open sundeck. The kids will enjoy piling up in the bunk room to enjoy a movie at night, and from the additional bedroom, there is a small deck overlooking the bay.

Sunrise, Sunset, Edgewater Retreat is made for both!

**Beach Access for the complex can be limited due to tides, erosion, and inclement weather. Please understand we cannot predict if or when this may impact the complex or an individual reservation.**

To prepare a qualified quote, select your arrival and departure dates (must follow the property's turnover day, if applicable). Alternate dates must be pre-approved. **NOTICE: There will be a beach renourishment project ongoing near or around this property starting in December 2025 and estimated to conclude by May 2026. During the time of active work, access to the beach will be limited and/or not allowed.**

Great location and great condo

Peaceful Retreat

We had a great time. We wanted a beach vacation away from all of the hustle and bustle normal vacation destinations. This rental was the perfect location. Unit was clean, your practically in the ocean. The constant crashing waves was relaxing. There was a little confusion on how to access the beach on the sides of the townhomes. Townhome has everything needed for any stay.

Perfect Stay in Cape San Blas

We booked this place because of the proximity to the water and it did not disappoint. You can't beat the view off the balcony with the waves crashing directly below you. My husband was also very happy he didn't have to haul all of our beach items too far. We would defiantly stay here again!

Great Location and Views

This rental had an incredible view of both the gulf and bay side. The third floor views of the gulf were awesome and perfect chairs to see without any obstruction. Saw dolphins multiple times. Clean unit and nicely decorated. Our family had a great time. Only issue was no access to the beach. Photos lead you to believe you’ll occasionally get beach access in front of the unit, but there was none. It’s too close to the water so for the entire trip no beach. I’m assuming certain times of the year there might be occasional access but none for our entire trip. West side of unit closed and east side had a small sliver of beach but mostly all private property we were not allowed access to, so each day we had to pack up our beach stuff and family and drive to find a beach. Not sure we would’ve chosen this unit had we known it wouldn’t have a beach in front of it.
