No, literally— it’s perfect. It’s better than glamping. You know that 10 hour YouTube video you play of ocean sounds to sleep? That’s this place but it’s right outside the window: you can smell it. I put my phone on airplane mode for 72 hours and just stared out the windows. Phenomenal. Guess how many emails I read. That’s right, not a single one. Email doesn’t even exist here.
The cabin itself has everything; you might think, “oh it’s rustic” but you’ll still be able to charge your phone, shower, have coffee, electric lights, heat, cook whatever you want. You will want for nothing.
There’s a little book that lists local restaurants if you’re into that, but I’d recommend just bringing groceries and cooking things yourself. Nearby hiking spots are very good and easy for even the most inexperienced hikers.
The hosts are wonderful, they keep in touch, and leave nothing unprepared.
