However, it has many details that could improve the room, which is quite poorly decorated, with bathroom accessories of very poor quality, the mattress is old and soft. "We loved staying here. Barbara was kind, accommodating and made us feel really welcome. She was super with our little daughter. This place has also a hidden gem of a waterfall at a walking distance from the property. Loro Ciuffenna and its surroundings (including Arezzo) is a wilder and beautiful part of Tuscany who I would recommend visiting to anyone. *****"

"A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "

"This place was not clean, it had dead moths on the bed linen and spiders and webs everywhere! We had to call to get the key and all they wanted to do was sell the wine! The wine was nice and the surroundings but that’s it! There was nobody around to discuss the dirty/dead insects issue and is in the middle of nowhere. It feels unsafe as the door wouldn’t lock from the inside either. If for some silly reason you still book….take food as there is nothing there to eat! Best thing to do...

Beautiful House with Stunning Pool

"A lovely week stay in Alessio’s house near Poppi. The pool was stunning and the hot tub a bonus- fabulous views from this point, especially at night when you can see the lit up castle of Poppi. Spacious room that were all very clean and we loved the indoor Pizza oven; especially as it was a bit of a disappointing week weather wise! It was super handy to be able to walk to a local shop and cafe; although this did mean there was a little traffic noise when you were sat outside. Alessio was great; always very quick to respond to questions on WhatsApp, and kindly brought us some fresh strawberries and home made biscotti, along with a local liquor and honey. We would definitely stay again! "
