"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

"The room appeared clean, however there was a smell of damp in the bathroom which spread into the other rooms. The furniture was quite tatty and really didn't fit the apartment. It just looked quite unloved and like it needed a redecoration. I also found it very difficult to wash dishes as the water wasn't hot enough and in the end had to put them through the dishwasher in order to get them clean. This isn't ideal. "This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils.
