Lidia's Place, a Home in Madeira

Lidia's Place is a large apartment in the town of Ponta do Sol, in the sunniest part of the island, for up to three guests — it has a sea-view balcony and its own free parking, a few minutes' walk from the beach and the cafés.

The apartment is 130 m² and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm) and the other with a single bed (120 × 200 cm), a living room with a dining table, a kitchen and two bathrooms.

It also includes a refrigerator and freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, fans, Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), a TV with international and children's channels and other amenities for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The property is in a residential building in the town of Ponta do Sol, where there are many restaurants and cafés.

Ponta do Sol lies in the south-west of the island, the area of Madeira with the best weather conditions.

A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurisilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.

Less than 200 m away there is a supermarket, a restaurant and a café, and about 400 m away there are other restaurants, cafés and bars. The John dos Passos Cultural Centre is 350 m away and Ponta do Sol beach is 450 m away.

A car is recommended; the property has access to the main roads and there are bus stops and a taxi rank nearby.



⚠️ PLEASE NOTE

The accommodation is in a residential area, but there may be noise from motorcycles and cars on a nearby street and from dogs barking in the neighbourhood, mainly during the day and if the windows are open.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
