L'Hotel è posizionato vicino a due entrate degli scavi (entrata su via Plinio 6 min. vicino al centro e Porta Marina 10 min.). Proprietari e la ragazza alla reception molto gentili cercando di mettere gli ospiti a loro agio più possibile. Hotel arredato con atmosfera della vecchia Pompei. Colazione buona sia con dolce che salato. Camere abbastanza accusticamente isolate. Balcone con zanzariera. Uniche due cose da rivedere la posizone del condizionatore all'interno della stanza e pulizia del copriletto. Tutto il resto pulito. Consigliato!

The property is reasonably located in Pompei. However, the carpet in the stairs should have been changed a number of years ago; We had breakfast always at the same table. The tablecloth was dirty the first morning we sat at it. And it was the same dirty tablecloth the morning when we left. Finally, there were holes in our bed sheets. I would not go back to that hotel and I would not recommend it to any friends.

A very comfortable traditional style hotel, with friendly and efficient staff. The location is unbeatable, being within 5 minutes walk of the Pompeii excavations and the pickup points for Vesuvius trips. Overall I was very pleased indeed with the hotel, my only criticism being the rather limited breakfast.

5 minute walk to Pompei ruins.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Pompei. Only a5 minute walk to Pompei ruins and central to both Pompei and Pompei Scavi stations. (10 minute walk to each). Only downfall, nil fridge in room. The staff are happy to help, when asked

Great Stay in Pompei
This place was a great location, about 15 min walk from train station, next to a super market and close to several restaurants in walking distance. Hotel staff readily available and very nice. Spoke English well, and put up with my poor Italian. Breakfast was free with stay and had a little of everything that you would need from a cold breakfast buffet with a coffee included. Bed was a bit hard, but that seems to be the standard in Italy. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel in ottima posizione per la visita agli scavi, comodo a tutti i servizi e con buon ristorante dall'altro lato della strada. Molto disponibili i gestori, colazione di discreta varietà. Camere comode. Comodo e spazioso anche il parcheggio

Very good location and secure parking a bonus. Better than average breakfast. Staff's knowledge of anything other than the "ruins" is limited so do some research yourself on trips to Sorrento/Amalfi coast or Naples. We stayed an extra night because the hotel was so convenient for the train.

Un po' di fresco nella calura estiva
Accolti da un ampia pergola ombreggiata da un enorme glicine secolare, abbiamo trovato subito un po' di ristoro dalla calura estiva. Piccolo albergo molto accogliente condotto da personale molto gentile. Ampio parcheggio.

Nice hotel, friendly staff
This hotel was a great option for a prolonged stay for work at Pompeii. It is located half way between the Porta Marina gate and Amphitheater gate, but away from the craziness of tourists, souvenir stalls, and buses. Restaurant on site was not open but restaurant across the street was tasty and reasonable; bar for coffee, takeout, and inexpensive food was also across the street. A/C in my room could have been a little stronger, especially because of high humidity and street noise, but it worked well enough for basic comfort. Larger rooms with terraces might be different. Breakfast was sufficient with a variety of options, hard boiled eggs, meat, cheese, fruit, juices, cereals, etc. Staff was warm, kind, and friendly.

Comfortable and quaint
The room was comfortable, the bed was firm but reasonably comfortable. The shower was good sized and worked well. The furnishings are old fashioned and room door locks are old style keys. The location is great if you are visiting the ruins, it's an easy walk to the entrance. Free parking right in front was very convenient. There are great restaurants in the area. We enjoyed sitting out front under the Wisteria vines.

L'albergo è posizionato in zona scavi archeologici ed è perfetto per la visita di Pompei antica, è accogliente pulito e confortevole le camere sono molto belle e le colazioni abbondanti è molto utile il parcheggio interno

Flott beliggenhet ift Pompei utgravningsområde. Hotellet lå mellom to trafikerte veier og det var mye støy. I tillegg et gammelt air-condition anlegg så det tok lang tid å varme opp rommet

L'hôtel est situé sur une voie passante qui génère du bruit de circulation tard dans la nuit. Nous avions deux chambres côté rue et avons mal dormi. Nous avons dû monter nos valises à l'étage (1er) car il n'y a pas d'ascenceur. Le petit déjeuner était passable.

Great place to stay!
This hotel was great! The location couldn't be better, there was safe, enclosed parking, the service was fantastic, the room was quiet and clean and the hotel itself was charming. The beds were a bit hard for my taste and the capuccinos were not the best, but all in all, I highly recommend it.

Hotel comodissimo per escursioni
E' in posizione centrale a Pompei. E' vicino all'ingresso della zona archeologica ed al Santuario. Nella vicina piazza Anfiteatro ci sono autobus di linee private che collegano Pompei alle località da visitare, quali Cratere del Vesuvio, Ercolano, ... e dalla stazione ferroviaria è possibile raggiungere anche altre città come Napoli.

A wonderful greeting and an amazing property. The room was clean and just what we were looking for in a hotel close to Pompeii. Breakfast is a must and it is obvious that much love is put into their business.

awsome, right across the street from pompeii ruins
i recomend the stay here., the staff was nice and friendly, the room was nice,clean comfortable. and the location was perfect for visiting the ruins. there are a couple of places to go eat but if you want lifelier atmosphere you either take a cab or take a pleasant walk, the area is clean and i felt safe walking around.

Hotel close to Roman city of Pompeii
Hotel degli Amici (hotel of friends) is located in the modern city of Pompei, across the street from the ancient city of Pompeii. Facilities are modern and clean with a friendly staff who assisted us with transportation from the Naples train station and in securing our return tickets to Rome. The close proximity to the ruins allows the visitor to quickly access the site and stay as late as possible while it's location in modern Pompei allows one to walk to the main piazza and down streets to restaunts and to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, a beautiful 19th century cathedral designated as a Marian basillica. Will stay here again.

Great place to stay in Pompeii
Great location in Pompeii, very close to Pompeii Scavi, shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was super clean and spacious, with french doors opening to a small balcony. Parking (free) on the property, which is protected by a fence and locked at night, was a real plus. Hotel, which is located on the main road into Pompeii was quiet at night.

Good location, very close to the Pompeii ruins. Hotel is very clean. Good buffet breakfast. Room was very clean bathrooms recently renovated. Overall very good for a 3 star hotel.

Il personale è normale, non veramente simpatico...C'è la possibilità di pagare uno supplente per una camera lato giardino, l'abbiamo fatto...in realtà è inutile poiché delle strade a forte traffico passano in Y da tutti lati !

Cozy, Great location
Right across the street from Pompeii! Beautiful setting with a nice balcony and spacious parking. Breakfast was also very tasty and the eclectic style of the hotel was cozy.

Perfekte Lage zur Besichtigung der Ruinen
Zimmer und Bad waren top, sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal war freundlich aber sparsam mit Infos. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, der Kaffe allerdings grauenvoll. Die Lage zu den Ruinen ist perfekt, zwischen Haupt- und Nebeneingang. Beide Bahnhöfe sind zur Fuß in ca. 15-20min. erreichbar, wir sind mit der Circumvesiuviana an- und mit der regulären Bahn abgereist. Herculaneum ist unkompliziert mit der Circuumvesuviana zu erreichen, für den Vesuv fährt ein günstiger Bus (2,70€) gegenüber vom Bahnhof Pompei-Scavi. Nette Restaurants sind ganz in der Nähe.

Beautiful property. Great place.
Fantastic property, lovely gardens, great swimming pool and laundry facilities. A little outside of town but just a 7 euro cab ride to centre. Hotel calls cabs. Great restaurant on the property and great breakfasts. Front desk speak English and very helpful. Local coop grocery store just a 3 minute walk away so great for self catering or just to pick up a few provisions. You won't be disappointed.

Nice place right across from ruins
Very nice hotel in great location. It's literally across the street from Pompeii excavation site. Very clean and nice staff. At checkout I had to pay instead of it being prepaid through expedia and I thought it was already paid for so we had a bit of a disagreement but I was the one that was wrong and they very gracious about it. If you've ever been to Italy you know the people are generally a bit rude so I was very impressed with their attitude and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this place.

Great place to stay in Pompeii.
This was the best hotel we stayed at during our 10-day trip to Italy. The owner was accommodating and very professional and pleasant. Room was adequate size with beautiful, large balcony. Can't beat the location, just a few meters from the Pompeii Scavi, with private gated parking and conveniences such as restaurants, pharmacies and banks all very close by.

Comfort right across from the ruins.
Right across the street from Pompeii ruins, this is a quiet, clean, friendly hotel. They were even kind enough to let us leave our car – in a shaded parking lot – after we checked out and went to see the ruins for the day.
