The cottage is not so big but has everything you need. The stairway to the bedroom is quite narrow so maybe not so suitable if you’ve difficulty walking. "The Grand Hotel Victoria is an amazing property with a warm and friendly staff willing to help at all times. Our stay in a Jr Suite was spectacular, with a deck and expansive views of Lake Como. The rooms were very nicely appointed and the staff was very responsive to cleaning requests, turn down service and requests for things like ice and pillows. The Spa is amazing, with literally something for everyone, whether you like lap pools, waterfall massagers, hot and cold therapies, saunas and so much more. The beach club is a 5 minute walk down the street and provides multiple pools, lounge areas, dining and of course access to the lake itself. Finally, the food was excellent, from the breakfast buffet to inspired Italian meals. You won't be disappointed in this hotel, and Menaggio is a great location to explore all that Lake Como has to offer. "

"Hotel Centrale was absolutely perfect—so quaint and full of charm, right in the heart of Bellagio. We had the best time ever staying here! The service was amazing from start to finish, and the breakfast each morning was spectacular—served with a beautiful view of the lake. The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from all the best restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. A special thank you to Michele, who was incredibly thoughtful and kind. He shared some wonderful history about the hotel and made our entire experience feel so personal and special. The hotel is still run by his family, and you can truly feel the love and care they put into everything. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home, and we’re already dreaming about coming back."

"This is an incredible hotel, with perhaps the best location in Lake Como. Giulia was very kind and helpful upon check-in. And the best was to come - the location and the view (if you get a lake viewing room) are unbeatable! Varenna is perhaps the best town on Como, and you are steps from the Lido (small beach), beautiful walks, and the walk up to Castello di Vezio. Regarding the room- it was super clean, comfortable and had all we needed, with nice small touches. We did not agree with any of the concerns others manifested (eg, noise)"
