The villa owners, Dino and Jelena with brother in law Luca, could not have been more courteous and helpful.
The whole family were on hand to oversee the very few and minor problems that we had e.g. one cold shower.
The property is nicely decorated and the pool area and pools very clean and peaceful.
The hosts were very hospitable and provided us with cakes and pastries and grapes on two of our day, plus a very reasonably priced wine fridge which was well stocked with local red and white wine and liqueurs.
They also very kindly prepared a welcoming meal as we arrived too late to shop in the local supermarkets.
The villas were well equipped for self-catering and already had some basic ingredients.
Towels and bedding were plentiful, and being a party of 6 adults with one toddler it was bliss to be able to retreat to our own base to give us all self-contained living arrangements.
The villa is very easy to locate provided you find the A1 road out of Split, we didn't and took the coast road by mistake thus lengthening our journey.
It is advised to fly into Split as the distance to the villa is only 1 hour 2O minutes but 3 hours from Dubrovnik.
There is a small shop just 5 minutes walk from the villa and a local bakery 10 minutes walk away.
Because of the villas location a car is absolutely essential.
The relaxed and lovely seaside town of Vaska Boda is 20 minutes drive and Imotski the nearest point of civilisation with two supermarkets, some bars and coffee shops a 10 minutes drive.
The two local must see sights are the Red and Blue Lakes, located in two of the deepest sink holes in the world.
Do take swimming kit if you visit the Blue Lake as you will be grateful of a dip after descending the slopes on a hot day.
I really would recommend this well laid out, spacious accommodation with "blissful" pool area and attentive hosts, but be mindful of its location.
