Nice bed and breakfast. Very comfy and classy. All rooms have a deep jetted tub. Loved that. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Bed was so comfy.

The room we stayed in was stunning--the most beautiful we've been in. Lavishly decorated in a Medieval style and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The hosts were fantastic and the way they did breakfast was very convenient. We look forward to going back in the near future. Very convenient to the nearby town, yet in a quiet, wooded area.

The owner called me to see what time we’d be checking in as Their check in hours are between 4 & 8 and we would be there after that time. He was very accommodating and nice when we arrived at the Bed & Breakfast. The room was very nice and clean, loved the theme of the room and the jetted tub. I would highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast.

Absolutely loved Lions Gate. We had the Enchanted Elven Room and it was beautiful. Very clean, comfy bed, soft linens, good pillows, plush towels, beautiful furnishings, delicious breakfast, beautiful views, great shower head and water pressure, literally everything was perfect. A few minutes from town. Every single detail was perfectly coordinated. Such an amazing weekend stay for us. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing stay! So clean and peaceful. I’ve never stayed in an B&B before and it was amazing. It’s set up so you have a lot of privacy from other guests. We stayed in the Roman Bath and it was excellent. Even bigger and more luxurious than the pictures made it seem! Definitely want to come back and would strongly recommend for anyone! It’s also very close to downtown Lava (like 1 mile) but it’s back just enough where you’re not in the super touristy part and it was just the perfect getaway!

Wonderfully Relaxing Getaway

We stayed in the Roman Bath suite for our Silver Anniversary. It was beyond our expectations and was exactly what we needed. The room was very clean and beautiful! The jetted tub was so nice and relaxing. The sheets and towels were great quality and so soft! The homemade whipped cream and breakfast of Belgian waffles, bacon, sausage, and, fruit with fruit dip was excellent! The owners were very kind and welcoming. Overall, our stay was very nice and relaxing, We would definitely recommend staying at Lions Gate Manor.

The quality was amazing, and so was the breakfast. The owner was so kind and warm hearted. It was great to have everything we needed provided. They have a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave for guest use. The jetted tub in the Romeo and Juliet suite was wonderful! They have air conditioning that can be set to your preference, and soft sheets and comforters. They even provide robes for use in the bed and breakfast! Thick carpets, fancy medieval decorations and wonderful lighting really made it a fun place to stay. There is very little light pollution, and they have a great deck to stargaze from. We saw a shooting star! Bathrooms are well equipped, hot water does take a couple of minutes to warm up. They aLao have an outdoor Jacuzzi. Beautiful views, lovely time. All in all, an absolutely fabulous experience.

Breakfast was good and well organized. The rooms are ok but outdated and look different from what they seem to be in the pictures. They advertise that the rooms are soundproof but you can’t use the jetted tub after 10 because it’s “too noisy.” Also, a sign in the room to keep the noise down. Kind of hard to keep quiet when the beds creek just climbing in, let alone a romantic evening with your significant other. We are not a noisy couple but we felt like we had to whisper after being explained the rules. Bed did not have an updated pillow top like described. Bring your own pillows for sure.
