  • Welcome to the Lava Cottage! Our cozy home has been recently refreshed to provide you with a comfortable retreat after a day of enjoying all the fun and charm of Lava Hot Springs.
    Step into the cottage and be greeted by a living room full of natural light and walls adorned with pictures of historic Lava. Each bedroom had been thoughtfully laid out to provide a comfortable place to rest, complete with high end bedding and USB charging stations on each alarm clock.
    The fun, vintage kitchen will make you feel as though you stepped back in time while the large window is the perfect place to gaze out and enjoy the moment.
    This cottage is perfect for couples, families or small groups of friends looking to stay on a quiet street yet steps away from main street and all of the allure Lava has to offer.

Great cottage in Lava

Comfy beds, kitchen was well stocked. House is inviting plenty of room. Hope to rent this property again for our next trip up there. We loved the proximity to Main Street.

Such an enjoyable stay

Thank you for offering such a clean, cute place. The game selection was great, beds comfortable, kitchen pans and tools such a great help! There were many great touches that were appreciated.

Lava Cottage

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and inviting. The location was great. The Greystone Manor was just across the street, and we had a wonderful dinner there. Walk to hot springs was about 10 minutes. Great place to stay in Lava.

Perfect spot in Lava!

This was our first time staying in Lava Hot Springs, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! We loved that everything was within walking distance. The house was stocked with a great selection of games which we definitely took advantage of! The beds and couches were comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with a variety of dishes and cookware. The host was fantastic to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Lave cottage

Charming older home. Dated but clean. Good location. It had snowed a lot the night before and we had to shovel our path to the front door and shovel out a parking area. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the town of Lava.

Great location for LHS

Third time we’ve stayed at this property. The location is great, are able to park the car and leave for the entire stay. Walk to the pool and hot pools, and of course a stop at the ice cream shop. Only 1 small bathroom, so we would generally shower at the pools. Nice small yard with fire pit. Would recommend and will probably be back.

Loved this place!

This place was perfect for our group! Within walking distance of almost anything you want to do. We loved the backyard fire pit and the picnic table. The owner has done so much work with curb appeal making it very attractive inside and out. The inside was clean, we had all amenities we needed plus games and a nice big screen TV. The beds were all very comfortable with nice bedding. We loved all of the local historic touches in the home as well. It was very relaxing and cozy. We will return to this place!!

Charming cottage

This cottage was perfect for our stay up in Lava. It was spacious enough for our larger group and within walking distance from downtown Main Street. The price per night is a great deal compared to some of the very small, run down one bedrooms in Lava. I love the backyard set up with chairs to hang out in. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner. The drawers where the cooking utensils were kept had crumbs and no trays to hold try e utensils. The temperature of the fridge was turned to 1 when we got there. We had coolers packed with tons of food we needed to get into the cold fridge and the fridge was not cold at all. I realized a few hours later how warm the food was and was worried about it not being good. Took a long time for the fridge to get cold once I turned the dial to the recommended temp. Maybe it got bumped accidentally but hopefully it didn’t get turned down on purpose. Other than that it was a fun place to stay.

Great trip

We enjoyed our visit to Lava Hot Springs and the house was perfect for us - close to everything so we could walk to the pool, hot pools, ice cream, and the store for supplies

The house was beautiful and very clean. It had a fully stocked kitchen and the cabinets were labeled so we didnt have to search everything to find what we needed. They had a wide assortment of games and enough beds for 7 as long as 4 are willing to share. There was also a really nice couch that would have been comfortable for sleeping if needed. We had a slight problem with checkin but the host was quick to respond and helped fix it quickly.
