The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

"To start with the (only a few) positives: - The property manager was forthcoming and friendly. - Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. The nearest town, Neapoli, is 5 mins away (all by car). However, the neighbourhood itself is less than scenic, a dirt coastal road leads you to the property. Nowhere to go on foot. "An amazing home in the Peloponnese! This is a great home for a family. There is lots of room, the kids enjoyed the pool, 10 minutes from nearby Gythio which has great restaurants and shopping right on the water, as well as surrounding beaches!! Highly recommend this home !!"

"Everything was as described. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Mara. I hurt myself hiking during our stay and Mara got me ice and offered to take me to the hospital and the owner checked in on me and brought me an ice pack. We didn’t expect to need assistance during our stay and it was great to feel so well taken care of."

"It started badly. It took 4 attempts to get check in details via 3 different people. Then, when we arrived at the admittedly charming location, things unravelled further. the very first thing that hit us was a fusty smell of neglect as we opened the door. We do not think the description or the website is accurate. Far from being - as promised - a charming holiday cottage with a warm and cosy atmosphere - it is a rundown, cramped, shabby bungalow in desperate need of maintenance. The woodwork...
