"Hotel was full of locals with no manners,lines to have lunch that we ate outside hotel. When did get to dine the buffet was full of people and cutting in line. I also got very sick when I ate lunch there…had to stay in hotel room all day because to be close to a bathroom. Assigned 3rd floor but elevator was broken. I will not go back but staff was super nice!"

"We stayed at the ibeostar in Cancun and the difference is night and day. This one in puerto plata is not well kept. The pool was dirty, paint around the hotel chipping away , food was okay. No complaints about the staff, they were all friendly and polite. I just wish the facility was up to the same standards as the other locations. Cancun location there were shows and activities that we were made aware of and invited too. Im not sure if there were any here because I did not see any or hear of. The atmosphere was just different. All in all I would probably not attend this location again. "

"He visitado otras localidades del grupo Wyndham (2 veces ViVA Dominicus La Romana) pero esta me dejo sorprendido, especialmente en los diferentes restaurantes y su variado menú. Una gran variedad de actividades deportivas y buena animación. Algunos aspectos de mejora (Comunicación interna para el tour de bicicleta, actividad del teatro, en mi percepción, le faltó chispa) pero aun así un 4.5 de 5. Servicio muy bueno y personal atento."

"Clean room, great staff, family friendly hotel"

"The room was clean and modern and had all the amenities of a kitchenette. The property had a huge pool and its own beach club which was very nice, the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole property still has construction going on, it didn't bother us at all and we didn't hear it from the room. Overall very good value for money. I do wish the shower had hotter water and better water pressure."

"Amazing staff. Great restaurant and pool. Beach was terrific. Room was a bit dated but clean. Would stay again."

"The host made our stay. There was a problem with the sewer line from the building so our toilet did not work properly. She called the resort and kept me informed of the progress until it was fixed. She really came through on the last night when we had a massive rain storm that caused the showers to overflow and flood the bedrooms and bathrooms. She found us an open unit on the second floor so that we had a place to sleep that night unlike others on the first floor. These were problems outside of her control but she found solutions for what would have been an even worse situation."
