On site restaurant Cayote is ok, winding there for dinner one night after original plans fell through. It’s well reviewed and prices reasonable, but food a bit bland. Despite being Saturday night, few tables in use."

"Positives: Friendly front desk staff, a large clean room (#408), comfortable bed, and effective air conditioning. The hotel is centrally located for shops, restaurants, and tram stops. With the windows closed, the fourth-floor room was generally quiet. Negatives: The shower area in room 408 has a large clear glass window, offering no privacy. We had to cover it with towels. The rooftop terrace bar is a separate business with its own entrance, which may make hotel photos appear misleading. On Saturday evening there was loud music from the terrace, although it was not audible in our fourth-floor room; higher floors may be affected more. Street noise is to be expected due to the central location and nearby tram lines. During Carnival, noise increased significantly, with a nearby bar playing loud music until 4am on our final night. With windows open, early-morning noise from people outside and cigarette smoke from staff smoking below was also noticeable. Night-time refuse collection added further disturbance. Overall: The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located, but we would not stay again. Rooms do not have balconies, and the rooftop bar is not part of the hotel. While most nights were reasonably quiet (earplugs recommended), noise can be significant during busy periods such as Carnival. We did not use the hotel breakfast, so cannot comment on dining. "The host is so amazing and so friendly and was always available to answer questions and give suggestions and places to see and restaurant to eat at. The terrace is so beautiful. We spent all our time on the terrace eating and enjoying down time "

"The villa was very outdated, a lot of things broken. We stayed there two families with 4 children. The downstairs bedroom is practically inhabitable because of a sewer issues or mold. The same smell is also intense in the gym area.The next door neighbour has very large bird cages at the back of their house. The cages have a large selection of exotic birds that start shouting and making disturbing noises from sunrise. It is impossible to sleep through this noise so we have been awakened at around 6 or 7 am every morning.There is no internet connection and TVs are not working in any of the upstair spaces.The entertainment system only partly works. The projector works but the TV doesn't. The speakers inside seem to be broken because there is some extra humming sound that makes it hard to enjoy music from them. We couldn't use the outside speakers because the cupboard with the devices is locked and no key to open it.We think it's quite strange to not have been informed about the animals next door, in the end they tried to withhold the deposit, saying we broke this and that, pool skimmers, filter system in the pool, automatic blinds, children slider, trampoline, In fact these were all outdated broken things to begin with and quite dangerous for children, so they blame customers for damaging broken things they should fix before new customers. DONT BOOK!"
